Tangled lot - tempory withdrawl of sale.
I've not been abel to find any info online about a customs limit for the US. can find info about lots of other countries, but not the US. Just makes me think that you wouldn't have a limit?

US doesn't pay customs fees, as far as I've experienced, and I've spent more than 700 dollars overseas at once.

Oh great, thanks for clarifying this Constance and Tanya :) Pardon my ignorance. Wow, now I should go and abuse this privilige.

The US are technically charging customs fees like all countries. The magic threshold is $ 200. 95 percent of the packages over the limit do seem to slip through though.

They certainly don't hold to it, that is for sure. I received this year at least two 500 dollar packages and one 900 dollar package. Everything was delivered to my door USPS and there wasn't an issue at all.

Was the value properly declared? Maybe the US Customs officers couldn't convert that currency to US currency ;)

I've noticed the packages I receive from overseas have the value in the local currency from where it was sent (euros, pounds, etc.) and not the US value.

Wow a lot has been going on in here since I last looked. Thank you for the messages people left after 'Tr8withme' - I just find the post very immature. $200 is about £129 in my currency. I also paid $100 for 1 of those pins (open day/non cast pin). You must be magic if you are able to find many of those pins at half the retail price on ebay...you certainly don't need to be buying from me then!
I asked a few people who are big traders and pin collectors what they thought the estimated value of the collection I had was and this is where I got the value from.

Thanks to everyone who has been very kind!

Aveen x
