I watch this theme to see the "going Prices" for the select few who have the money to strait out buy the pins and in turn makes a $ about for the majority of for a trade value (well it sold for .....).

There was an auction for
LE 250 3/243 ratio. What is the actual value because 4 buyers then 2 buyers are in a war to own it and will give it an inflated value because everyone will now say it sold for ..... and that will be the value for trade?

I say the value is $250 and that is what it was until the "select few" started a war to own? Must the pin be valued based on the winners bid? In a few months the Completed Listing will not show who and how many bidders battled to own but word of mouth will remain that it sold for $1525. Only 2 bidders battled for this price.

I have a feeling it will trade for the most valuable pins and whoever trades for it will have to do a multi-trade to meet the value of the pin. I would say it will probably trade within the $500-$100 range but you might get a trader who wants to get the exact amount it sold for.

Wait.... WHAT!:eek2:!!!!

Just imagine how much the next R/C Rapunzel will go for when comes on eBay.

Is this real? like are people really buying these or are they just trying to up the price???
who would pay that amount of money on a pin????

Hopefully that price will inspire more to sell and you can get a good judge on value with more recent sales.

Stupid price! Just like the beloved tales lion king at over $300 I will never afford it! Can't believe people are willing to pay that much!

It wasn't shill biding. I has a max of 1500.00

just wondering what made you and someone else think this pin was worth 1500? No disrespect, I'm just curious as I had seen this pin sell a few times a little over a year and a half ago for $60 tops

.....My Dream of completing my Tangled Collection truly feels shattered now.

l***i was an automatic bid that was placed Mar-27-13 22:21:18 PDT and did not come into effect until x***x either wanted to see what the max price was or really wanted it that bad.

Except for the 2 BIN, the Marquee sells for $600? LE 300
Designer Princess did not sell for $800? LE 150 and I would guess the Grail of Tangled pins?

What is happening to peoples values of pins?

As an example
should be going for the $1000's. Has anyone on this forum ever seen it at a Trade Night, Event or eBay? Is has "Grail" of all grails on it. Yet its value, I would guess and only a guess is about $500 for a time tested pin over the years. This pin has lasted the test of time and the LE and ratios show it. It has beautiful quality as Disney pins used to have.

Is the pin world about the current must have pins then learn about the old school pins.

It's supply and demand. The compact is rarely seen for trade and Tangled is such a hot item. I can understand why it would go for $1,500 but I don't know if its worth that much.

eBay people have gone loco. I mean, a pair of Dug pixar pins just sold within minutes of each other, The LR went for $46 and the LE200 went for $36. I tall depends on who is bidding and how much they bid (or more accurately how much they snipe.) Apparently what we all think as a subset of the pin community has 100% no bearing on reality with eBay buyers. Rasputin must have hit the lotto with some of the things you've won/bid on. How many, percentage wise, would you say you win? Do you look at who beat you and the first/last letter and is it the same person?
