I knew it would be 1 per person sadly so I'm not too shocked on that end >_< BUMP!!!! I feel like this is hopeless right now haha xD but maybe that's just RIGHT NOW lol

I've ordered 1 set from 2 different sellers on eBay. I figured that would increase my odds of getting at least 1 set. But if I get both sets, I would be trading 1 of them for the Avengers set that I have been looking for.

The trade would look like this: Pin 96162, 96163, 96164, 96165 & 96166 traded for Pin 90262, 90264, 90265, 90266 & 90268

Hey Brad, that is a sweet deal if I had any of the Avengers pins to trade lol xD I will definitely keep a lookout for them, because while I do like the Avengers pins as well, these Iron Man ones trump it (the only one I might have a hard time letting go from the Avengers set is the Iron Man pin lol because I could be an Iron Man completionist in a heartbeat)

Oh god tomorrow is the day :anxious: (it's currently 5/9/13 on the east coast) STAY SAFE EVERYONE!!!! >_<

EDIT: By "the day" I mean the day that the drama llama comes out to play since wristbands and such will be handed out and lines will form.

Well, as is not shocking, that release got out of hand <_< Good luck to everyone who managed to get a wristband. I am thankfully talking to some people, but money is tight, I'm just glad that the pins aren't selling ANYWHERE near the $400 pricepoint so many people thought it would. It seems like $270 is close to the max so that's a good thing, right?

Only a few more bumps to this thread but I think this search didn't net me any of the pins Oh well, I have to say, I'm shocked how little these pins are selling for, which is a huge plus. It seems to have a hard time selling for even $250?!?! @_@

Hello again. If you happen to know anyone with an extra 5 pin Avengers set, I am willing to trade all 7 Iron Man 3 pins for it.

As a bonus, the set I'm trading, was bought by the guy (for the sake of the story,we'll call him Tommy) that got into the fight, early that Friday Morning.

You see, Tommy was one of the people in line who had been there from the night before, when a couple of line jumpers showed up. True to their nature, just as the wristbands were about to be handed out, they snaked their way into the front of the line.

Even though, Tommy was still close enough to get a wristband for himself, his wife, and his two sons that were with him, he couldn't stop thinking about those people behind him. "Someone back there's not going to be able to get the pins they'd spent hours standing in line for, 'cause of these jerks," he said angrily, under his breath.

Unable to just standby and watch this injustice, he knew someone had to stand up to these lowlifes... so he did.

Tommy called out, "HEY, NO LINE JUMPIN'!"

The bigger of the two cutters turned around. His eyes quickly scanning the crowd for the person who dared to speak up. At 6 foot 3, Tommy was hard to miss. The line jumper saw him, walked over and stood in his face.

"IF YOU GOTTA PROBLEM," he snarled while discharging saliva, "STEP UP THEN?!"

Tommy knew that it would get himself kicked out, or maybe even arrested along with the line jumper, but he quickly shoved the punk back anyways.

Charging to defend his line jumping friend, the other scumbag hit Tommy from behind...

I sadly still don't have the Avengers pins Perhaps it might be easier to find a taker if you created a Trading thread in the trading section stating that you'd do a one for one trade for the pins. I think you need 30 posts to do so though Just sayin'

Good luck with your trade though, IDK if I would trade the Avengers set for the Iron Man set though since the Avengers set goes for around $400 while the Iron Man set can barely go for $250 >_< but that's just me personally.

Last few bumps on this thread...seems like I am not getting these pins but that's okay ^_^

Right. Sorry, about that. You see, I wasn't asking you for them directly. I was pretty much desperate to get them, but I didn't have enough posts to post a new thread in the trading section. So I had to piggy back your post and others just so I could have some kind of presence here in the forum. So thanks for that.:wiggle:

Anyways, I was able to find someone who would make the trade. Despite your efforts to dissuade them.

So now that I have the Avenger Pins on the way, I had a story to finish for you, and/or anyone else reading this thread.

Then the cops broke it up and they all got kicked out.

I know. I know. This story is horribly anti-climatic, but this story happened in real life and not the comics.

On the other hand, one part of this tale is true to the graphic novels. Even in the face of self-sacrifice, Tommy stood up for what he believed in and for the rights of the general public. For people who never had to ask him to, and who are never going to give him praise for doing it.

You're very welcome. Most times it can be offending to hijack someone else's thread for selfish purposes but I figured at least some good would come out of this thread, which is you getting the pins ^_^

Who was I trying to dissuade? All I merely said was that I personally wouldn't see that as a fair trade and clearly by how much both sets are selling, most people would agree. HOWEVER, you found one person who clearly did trade one for one so that is fine. And I quote:

I'm not trying to be rude, just a little offended that you would accuse me of trying to intentionally break up a trade for no reason Either way, congrats on getting your set. This thread has run its curse so I shall close it now. Thanks everyone!!! ^_^
