naw... it has to do with release size... Have you noticed that if there are 5 or less pins, theres a surprise?

I am full of crap either way. :) Why would they do a surprise release of Dug as todo or Jess ar dorothy? lol

Disney had to be very careful with this movie and how it relates to WB's Wizard of Oz. No ruby slippers, they had to change the wicked witch's makeup, etc.. to avoid any legal issues. So I doubt there is a Dorthy or Toto. So they went ahead and used stuff that wasnt used in the original (China Girl). Not sure how it relates to pins if they could do Jessica as Dorthy or not.

As long as they avoid calling her Dorothy, they can get away with it by calling her a Farm Girl or anything. I mean, while Dorothy is the most associated character with ruby slippers and that outfit, her character doesn't own that outfit so if Disney uses it but just doesn't call it "Jessica as Dorothy" they should be fine. I mean, look at the Jessica as Cat Burglar in my signature. We all know its her as Catwoman, but they can't say that because she is DC's property, so they just say Cat Burglar and BAM! They're in the clear ^_^ Now I just want them to make Jessica as Plant Lady (AKA Poison Ivy) and I'm gonna fall out of my chair.

Actually Dorothy nor any of the other character names are copyrighted. Disney could use them. It's the look of the characters Disney needs to be careful of. The original source material is in public domain, so any use of anything in the book is fair game. But the look of characters like the Witch, Scarecrow and Lion were created by MGM, so they own it. That's why Glinda looks different in Disney's Oz. in the book the slippers are silver not ruby. That was changed in the movie to make use of the color film.

Seriously? Neither appreciated or appropriate. Lately these releases have been bad enough that, at this stage in the game, that number would be believed. There is no need to make things worse by causing a needless panic by exaggerating the quantity of people in line and making the release more chaotic than it should be - for both those in line and the DSF cast.

To those who are there - stay safe, warm, and dry.

I'm staying in the car in the parking lot because I did not this to be a camp out release and was at the 830 Oz showing dressed as Glinda so safe to say I'm not prepared for rain...got to see James Franco and Zach Braff <333 I was sitting in the second row of VIP seating they were so close <333
