Hello All!
Sorry to those of you that can't make the DSF release but I thought it would be exciting and fair to share some info I got today.

1. All remaining 2012 DSF pins will be previewed at the Mickey's Circus at WDW. (Except for surprise pins of course) (Cruel DSF, show them what they can't get! ahah.)
2. Finding Nemo 3D marquee is LE500 and limit 2 per person, 250 people can get this one!
3. There are more pins than just a marquee for Wreck-it-Ralph, other Wreck-it pins look "nice" she said.
4. El Capitan is showing Aladdin in December. (Possible marquee??)
5. Another NBC marquee end of October, most likely 27th.
6. Also, I saw new key chains there today. The typical Soda Fountain logo (like last trading bag logo) with Mickey & Minnie and milkshakes, but these ones had Roger/Jessica and Jack/Sally. Ice Cream cone pattern backs. Hadn't seen them before.

7. This is extra, but the Cinderella pins today had a few issues. The "C" in the marquee had blue paint smudges. The white teacup with Jaq & Gus was often dirty and paint smudges in the brass rings. The pumpkin spinner had a few smudges near the top. And the one with the prince rarely had issues but did have some extra blue paint here and there. So check your pins!

Your tidbit #1 feels like a slap in the face. It stings to know they will show us the beautiful pins that we can only dream about. And thanks for rubbing it in with your comment. Maybe you could make up for it and get me those pins that I'm dreaming about????

All I hope is people dont forget to take pictures and post them ASAP XD

to think people will know if they need to plan ahead of time for a release etc as well as save up if a release is going to be hectic

No pics of Nemo, it's supposed to be released in Sept and the first showing at El Capitan is 9/14, probably a good day to plan on. (They did Cinderella on the 15th, a wed. because that was th first day, so I'm assuming also Nemo will be Friday the 14th.) Frankenweenie is for sure, most likely on Oct. 5th, NBC is Oct. 26th first showing, and Wreck-it-Ralph first showing is Nov 2.

Margaret, I agree it's cruel to show DSF pins in Florida. Not sure why they wouldn't do it at a DLR PTN perhaps, but not Florida. I'd offer some trades but I don't see any WDW pins I want on the horizon. Will have to see what they offer on the preview boards in Sept. Put my order in with my WDW buddies.

Margaret , now you know, where there is a will, there is a way . I don't see anymore pins I want this month from my friend . I will have to let her know that I want the Marquees, I'd like any Halloween as I have another pin event CNJPT's 3 day event in October . I really will want the Aladdin set, maybe the surprise release will be Genie . Gosh, I loved him in the Aladdin play on The Fantasy . Genie was the best part, but it is December and I might not have the extra funds .
Thanks for the report !

Mark didn't mention it, but the information came from Teressa (who is the DSF pin person in charge). It should be noted, that Alladin is the most likely early December El Capitain movie - they originally were going to do an extended run of Wreck it Ralph, but were considering other options too. Monsters Inc in 3D is the film for December 19, 2012. Teressa also confirmed that they wil be showing Iron Man 3 at the El Capitain next May - so more Marvel pins! Movie pin releases should continue to be released on the first day of the movie showing at the theatre.

I am SO excited for this film! Most Marquee pins are pretty plain and unappealing in my opinion though, so I'll probably be able to live without that one. I can't wait to see the others though!

When I read this, I jumped out of my chair and pumped my fists into the air and got all of the people in their offices coming out to stare at me :hsd:

I'm exited but know there is a chance of me not getting the pins. I hope there's a chance with the Finding Nemo marquee being a higher number limited edition that it won't drive prices too high.

On to saving money!!!!

Yessss!! Sign me up for the Aladdin Marquee pin with my lovely Jasmine on it!!!

I went to DSF today for the new PTD and their sign said Monsters Inc 3D on Dec 19th. Maybe a Monsters Inc marquee in Dec, not Aladdin.

Yes, I just read about the revised date in Entertainment Weekly. But, Wreak It Ralph comes out on Nov 2nd which would mean it would run for 6 1/2 weeks. Maybe a four week run with Aladdin at the end of November or beginning of December 2012?
