Alright folks... I love Atlantis, I even recently started collecting it. But I was going through my keeper book today and realized I have a LOT of different collection that I keep.... and my keeper book is expanding to book #2!!!! Atlantis is my "youngest" or newest collection, and have the smallest number of pins in it so far. I also recently expanded my "dragon" collection from JUST the wdi dragon mickeys to well... um, ALL disney dragons. lol

I am torn, and would like advice. I need to reduce the sheer volume of collections I have. What do I let go of?

Heres what I am willing to put back in the trade book:
  • Atlantis: my favorite storyline, only 5 pins in the collection.
  • I could get more specific with my horses, letting go of 5-7 pins comfortably that I feel no attachment or sentimental value for. i have 36 horse pins right now...

Atlantis has 2 da le100's, a DSUK le300 and a basic OE or two...
the horses are mostly "princesses and their horses, a couple carousel's and the secretariat Marquee....

So both would give me a couple great and a couple average traders.

What would you do?????

You think 2 books is a lot? Man, I am starting book 4!!!! I need to cut back...

I would get rid of what you feel the least sentimental attachment to. If Atlantis has your favorite storyline, I would keep that. Especially, if you have pins in your horse collection that you don't love.

Just my opinion, hope it helps

Just give yourself time to think about it before you give up something you would regret later. Certainly keep the pins you love!

Since Atlantis has so few pins why not frame them? Then you can call them an art piece!
This is great advice!! My perspective is different cause I have sooooo many keepers!! I wouldn't give up any pins that I really like ... no matter how much room they take up, lol!

I agree two books is a lot? I have 17 books and amy has 12.

I plead the 5th on how many keeper pin books I have and we won't discuss boxes...but I digress

Hang onto the horses. They are one of my favorites...there's just something about horses...

Just my 2 cents.

I just try to control my addiction kind of strictly.

I am going to put the atlantis on my traders. the horse MIOGHT go there, but I am not sure if I will move them to the trade book.

seeing as there is only 5 Atlantis pins, if it was me, Id keep them. They wouldnt be taking up too much space being such a small amount
