Trading at Epcot

We are heading to WDW Jan 5-10 and haven't been in exactly a year. Wanted to make sure there are still tables at Epcot to trade? Anything else new with pin trading in the parks? What about trading vinylmations..that still going on?

Last, we have always used pin bags and lanyards, but I was thinking about getting some of the pages and putting some in a binder. Thoughts?

yes tables are there still, epcot has a new board at the pin station, times it comes out are random, Vynal trading is still big, although the limit is one book per person so either bring BIG books or one for each member of the family!! Get there at rope drop, that week is traditionally very busy, so space at the tables may even be tighter,!!
on the upside, using a binder is easier to transport<just pop them in a wheelie cart> on the other as stated only one book per, so lanyards and bags may be better for going to the parks in general<unless stationary trading >
Lastly as long as you are at epcot dont forget the hotels around the other lake<swan and dolphin each have boards and lanyards on cast members in the gift shops and while hotel isnt disney gift shops are!!so disney rules apply about trading!>
Beach club and yacht club still have boards and lanyards on CMS although trading can be tough if they are busy, both hotels have pin books in the lobby, just ask at the desk to see em! Check for when boards come out usually at 10 am and 5pm
Boardwalk does have lanyards but not boards anymore but does have lanyards!!

We have traded for years and I never thought about the swan and dolphin...THANK YOU for mentioning that. I'm so excited I can't wait...and I'm completely not ready, but oh well...we are going to have a blast!

Really?! Why is that? We will be there from Jan 9-13 and figured it would be relatively slow since holidays are done with and Jan. doesn't seem like prime vacation time.

We were there last year at the exact same time and actually found it to be quite dead. We walked on rides for the most part and did tons of trading...had no problem getting a table at Epcot. Anyone else going to be there? Would love to meet some fellow DPF friends

A great way to trade pins at epcot that we found when we were there back in November was going back through the world showcase. All the cast members is all the shops back through there have lanyards and sometimes have very rare pins. And what are these tables you are talking about? I don't recall seeing them.

The weekend of the Disney marathon is busy, then crowds taper off the days following. This years dates are Jan 7th & 8th.

Hi ---------------Beagirl i will be there 5-8th but staying at gaylord palms, doing the marathon, i may swing by DTD and eating at flying fish on friday pm, but no parks this trip....too much with running a half and full marathon back to back. I did message or post something to you about trading so look at my trades or all of my pins on pinpics same handle and we can meet someplace!
