I thought about putting this in the new acquisition thread but it kinda needs its own place.

Looong story short... My daughter got me into collecting with her enthusiasm for training WDW when we were there once. We collaborate and buy/trade most things together and have basically a joint collection. She reads this forum with me too much of the time. Recently, I decided to buy a subscription to the ACME pins as a another level to our collection and something super unique she can have long into the future.

Recently, our first lot of pins came and in it is this amazing Snow White pin.

Truth be told this pin may have made my decision easier when I was trying to decide to take that plunge. Well, my daughter looks at, touches ... LOVES that pin every day! Today we had a snow Day from school and she sat with that pin and made her own pin.

Pin trading is a shared experience between me and my daughter too. The pins are pricey but our pin memories are priceless. :-)

That is just the sweetest thing!!
My boyfriend & I have talked many times about how fun it'll be to take our future kid(s) with us to the parks. I am sure we will also introduce pin trading, because it's so fun to interact with cast members that way and part of the magic that can be continued at home, outside of the parks.
