I don't know... the art could easily be done if you had enough skill, and the adobe illustrator. Seeing that the other photos they have posted include the banner to a popular photography website, and a birthday invitation to a little girls party with (an address and phone number. Which could be theirs. Not so smart- yeah...) I wouldn't doubt they have the skill to make this. But, then again it really could be the real art, and they just have inside sources. Who knows?

Also, note there was a thread asking for art for new BT pins, like the marquees we have been making. I could understand if they posted this there- but, why they would make a flyer with today's date on it... OR any date at all just confuses me. They obviously wanted to start some kind of controversy. I honestly feel bad for DSF at this point, sucks they will be getting more problems from these pins.

Compared to other pin designs, this would have been the worst! Look at the wheels, Wall-e's body; DSF would have put a little more effort on the design. This honestly looks like a child drew it, or someone created it in "paint" on a PC.

Anyone with photoshop could have made the pin.

Some of the BT like Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid, and Beauty & the Beast have nice art work. They could step it up a notch.
 
It's funny. After the fact, everyone is picking and talking about this pre-April fool joke? Yet, everyone was ready to drop all you were doing and get to DSF - any means possible. Either for your collection, sell or trade? Now the question is not if they will make one but when and what will be the presale price and after release price. That's the question.

BTW, the Wall-E BT will not be of Wall-E sole. As any BT collector, the major characters will be on it. I am assuming :

1- Wall-E
2- Eve
3- Hal (the roach)

Research past BT?
 
Tangled was missing Maximus and pascal, dumbo no Timothy, jungle book no baloo, Cinderella no Cinderella, Hercules no meg, mulan no mushu, aiw no mad hatter, monsters inc no mike wasowski!... Anything is possible if there is a Cinderella beloved tales without a Cinderella lol and what about the cleaning robot from wall-e and the captain?? Who knows what they will do but I look forward to seeing a wall-e :)

It's about a 3:1 ratio for BTs going with other characters to going solo. I wouldn't put it past them to leave Wall-E alone. Shoot, in my hopes for a Wall-E BT, he's also alone.

My bad. Rephrase. Most major characters. See true BT collectors would know better than I. Silly me. I'm just an silly UP collector. :-)
 
Hopefully they end up releasing the remaining major movies as beloved tales soon. That way this whole craze can be done and over with.
 
I was just curious if that was true lol so I double checked. But one thing that is noticeable about bt is that there's no villains in any of them! It would be cool if they did a villain series of beloved tales but then again they probably wouldn't be called beloved tales! Lol

I wouldn't feel too bad for DSF. They still make a killing and who knows if it was they who themselves created the fake. Maybe to test the waters and get the publics opinion on it? All the BTs sell out and put money in their pockets so I doubt they would make a issue out of a few curious traders calling about a possible BT release today. Maybe if these BTs weren't being hoarded by certain somebodies, than sold for crazy prices, people wouldn't be so chaotic about this poster.

I myself have personally paid over $100 for my UP BT (which is a great price, but still expensive), over $150 for my Pocahontas and over $200 for my Tangled. I'm not rich so it's disgusting to me that I had to spend so much on these. Yes...no one forced me to buy them, but lets be real...the prices are only getting worse and I can't afford the $600+ that some are listing Tangled for now.

So in short I could care less about the DSF store or employees. When they start caring more about us, the customers, than I may show some sympathy. Until than though...they should feel bad for me! Since I had to go broke on pins they obviously have no control over. Maybe they should find a way to not have people sleep in the streets and make it fair for traders everywhere; instead people end up with 10-20 each when there's a limit of 1 per customer. How this happens? We all know...so no need to go into details.

I'm just thankful I've made friends who are still willing to help me out. However, I still feel for THEM as there the ones who have to brave the cold and "safe" ally-ways of Hollywood. Than I love receiving messages asking me to buy pins plus other pins lol. Right...let me support your pin hobby. While I'm at it let me know which drugs you use so I can support that habit of yours too. This is not directed at anyone in particular. Just a little frustrated with pin-trading/buying lately. Dropping $500+ on 3 pins has left a sour taste in my mouth.

I did a search for BT pins before and I saw the price of the lion king as well I was quite shocked. Tangled must have boosted sales as I saw a pocahontas sell for over $100 and is not that old really.
 
I saw a Tanlged BT for like $600.00 It makes me so upset because it just makes me realize the odds of me getting one are... like ZERO! lol!
