WDW Hall of Portraits pins now for sale?
I saw some pics on Ebay. I think those portraits would be better left as portraits and not translated into the pins. I do not get the very high/hyped price tag. Those pins are not very pretty imho.

I agree. I think that was going to happen as the portrait had so much detail that the only way they would convert it to a pin was to make the sticker epoxy style pin. I saw eBay pics and prices and there was nothing that stood out to me. Great for collectors but I'm not sure how they will do as traders.

They had them out at MoG today but they were filling orders. They said they expect all to sell out today and none will be left. The pins are laminated stickers glued into a bronze frame. Like the Oz posters from DSF pretty much, but a tad larger. They are nice. I don't know if the pre-sale prices will hold once people see them in person. I'd be patient on these if I were you.

Due to them being stickers I can't see them holding out too well in the long run. I haven't checked those eBay listings recently, but last time I checked none were sold and I don't really expect them too, the pins are nice, but not 3 figures nice <_< To each his own. I think in the long run, the only thing that'll keep these higher in price and trade-value will be the edition size but I can't see them being grail-worthy pins now or ever.

They're not stickers. They're offset printing like other WDI pins have been. Per WDI CMs.

That's what DSF called the Oz posters, "Offset." So just look at one of those and you'll see. Kind of lame, but still cool of WDI to do some more princess pins.

I know this is a suuuper long shot, but does anyone have a rapunzel they'd be willing to trade for a snow? the gap between the popularities of these two pins is huge, I know, but I'm hoping so hard.

Unlikely, but never say never. Apparently Snow was still available at WDI yesterday (sold out by now)
