So did you get your confirmation for The First Trick & Meet Up At The Haunted Mansion for
Sept. 29/11 being put on by the Disney Blog - NOT Special Events

Curious, For the Room For One More Event being put on by Special Events, it would have been way cool if they could of had their event at the Haunted Mansion, also if they had a open public pin/vinylmation trading area before or after their dinner feast???? They could really take care of the guests that are attending with a surprise omgosh gift, then they would all flow into the public pin/vinylmation area letting everyone know what they missed and it would help sell out their next event. I think that there were a lot of guests that decided not to go this year due to the information that was given for the amount of money they were spending. Just a thought????

Also, you would think that they would have made this available to folks who are going to "Room for 1 More" FIRST. Before opening it up to the public via the Disney Blog site.

My wife is going to RF1M event and I am a bit P****D right now.

Oh, I most certainly expressed my opinion to event services today about that!!!! Their answer to me was they had no idea the event on the 29th was event happening until today. I am sooooooooo po right now it's not even funny. I spend uber amounts of money to go to their dumb events and we can't go to the Mansion because a certain head of event services is brainless and plans it on a MNSSHP night but they have ANOTHER event that's FREE and the ppl who pay for RF1M are not even on the list to go automatically? Who are these idiots that run those departments that don't talk to each other? Supposedly, the ppl from RF1M are going to get emails/calls to see if we want to go to the thing on the 29th. I'm about to tell them to bugger off on the whole thing. JMHO...

The Ghost is out of the coffin (or as we used to say, the black cat is out of the bag)

We had planned a little trick-
Sort of an event kiss goodnight.
The intent was to surprise you all-
Not make you laugh or cause fright.

Then the ghost was let out of the coffin-
Mind you by no doing of our own
A small event creaked out-
Causing some of you to groan.

So we decided to tell our Happy Haunt Guests-
The tricks we had up our sleeves.
The party might appear to be over Friday at 9-
But we assure you, you can’t leave!

The Magic Kingdom will await for all our VIP Guests-
You have complimentary admission to an event that’s the best.
A trick or treat party, and a few extra gifts-
Plus a VIP lounge will be available to give your feet a rest.

We have unveiled our plans, but have kept a few extra in store-
This event will be sure to please, but note there is only Room for ONE more.

"The intent was to surprise you all" - My wife just got this via e-mail, very nice that they are letting the RF1M folks go to the MNNSHP but "surprise you all" give me a break.

There was NO plans on doing this until all the PO RF1M people started to post stuff on the various sites. Either way my wife is happy and she can't wait to see the "additional surprises" and "gifts". Hopefully they are not going to find a stash of "Red Cups" lol!!

i didn't like the fact they announced it in the AM and those of us who were working never had a shot at entering
I would have love to have gone!!since im going to in the neighborhood!
