I been trying to finish my PODM collection and was thinking about trading them, however, I have no idea as to what I should get. I still need a good snow white scene with a character, Alice, Peter pan, Bambi, fantasia, jungle book, and have been looking for a hard to find tangled and mermaid scene. I know that other people who have the pins are asking for outrageous things and wanted to know what YOU would ask for if you had these pins... Please be honest as I know most of you have hard to get pins that you would consider valuable and what you expect...

This is just my two cents but value wise if I put a dollar amount on it I would put at $100 for the bear w/ merida and $80 on the logo. That's just what I would offer. Some of course may go higher than I would and some would go lower. For both pins I for sure would not go over $200 in value. I'm still a little hesitant to make a trade for these values but as of right this moment, this is the highest I would go and it could change in the next 5 minutes. :)

I too expect the prices to go lower on these, I think those values are good to ask for, but if you find something that you want that's a little more and the other person is willing, go for it :)

I agree. A good $75-$100 scene would be a fair trade IMO. I have a good tangled and Ariel but will keep an eye out for other movies if you give me an idea of what scenes you are looking for through PM. I'm trading at park today:). Maybe I can find you something cool:)

If I had them I'd be keeping the bear one. :) What I'd consider a fair trade for the other would be totally subjective; I'd hold out for a grail of mine, probably. I wouldn't be thinking about the dollar amount so much.

I deleted the PM I sent. Sorry did not realize that you didn't want any offers, but I don't understand how you will get an offer you can't refuse without getting offers..LOL..
happy trading!

My friend in FL has some awesome Peter Pan POMP pins . He's a Peter Pan completist and his nephew is a CM and bought him a lot of great cells before the pins were picked through . . My two Tangled scenes are close up Flynn & Rapunzel looking at each other in the gondola with lanterns over head or close up of Rapunzel resting on the gondola alone .
I say the karate kid gave a fair assumption . If you are interested in Peter Pan scenes, when and if , send me a PM and I will ask him which scenes he has tucked away .

I'm leaving my options open... This is a very rare opportunity for me to get something cool for my collection, it hasn't happened at all since I became a member here on DPF, except for the one time I traded out of my own collection but that was bittersweet :/

I have no idea of what a good scene from last years podms are at all... I just started buying these

thats ok, just do some research and go to see Brave first . I know Peter Pan POMPins bring a good $$$ depending on the scene . I just know that he has some goodies tucked away . If you ever decide on a trade and are interested, I can call and ask him . I'd even do a two for one deal as I told you last night that I get quite a kick out of the Bear running with Merida . I don't care for the Brave Logo at all .

Someone asked what the good scenes for PODM were recently so you can refer to that post but I agree that instead, finD youR favorite scene from the film and get that one :)

Any cute guys you can set up me up on a date with?! lol. Watch Brave and see if you want to keep the pins. If you do decide to trade, there are lots of opportunities here!

Here's a Pic of the pins... :)

I only love the Elinor/Merida one . I think it's so darn cute . My hubby bought me the huge Elinor stuffed bear at The Disney Store and I had the Merida barbie type doll deboxed, so I have her in Elinor's arm .

I think waiting is a good idea, don't let other people who wan the pin convince you what is best. I had a pin once that is of the same caliber, probably even more so and I let other people pressure me so instead of holding on to it, I let it go and that I regret very much. I do agree that you should wait until someone offers you a pin that means as much to you as these 2 Pixar pins mean to the people who want it. I don't think that there is a really great answer to this but I think in the end you should do with it what makes you the happiest. It is after all your prize.

Personally, I would take the gamble. The pins have the potential to become the new "R/C Rapunzel" of the Brave series. If they do, you can get a major grail/grails for it. If they don't, then you lose out on whatever the original price of the pins were. The fact that only Pixar employees can buy them makes them pretty inaccessible to the average pin trader. Just my two cents.
