What do you think they will replace the PODM'd with? There is going to be a big gapeing void.

Do you think Disney will start another awesome new series?

Do you think they will just let it be to see what becomes popular?

And if they didnt make a new series, do you think the attraction posters or Keys will become crazy?
 
I hope they do something just as large but hopefully not with something as delicate as film cells. I hate the fact that even just alittle sun will be bad for it.
 
It would be nice if they continued the PODM's for most of the movies we love that have not been produced. I would be okay with less then 6 PODM's for 2013. I do not collect Attraction poster pins nor Keys so I hope they can move in another direction.
 
Heh, I would too. I'm new to trading, so I kind of have some catching up to do on the PoDM series, and hope a series just as cool comes out so I can get a jump on that while I work backwards on the PoDM series.
 
PoDM are technically on hiatus I believe. Disney's testing the waters to see if they should continue them.

Piece of Disney Costumes is replacing the Piece of Disney History.


The PoDms though I have a feeling won't be the same, but something as delicate and interesting.
 
Well, what other "Piece of" pins could they do? They did movies, attractions, and will do costume apparently. Piece of Disney...pins lol? They take a rare pin, cut it up, and put a piece of it into other pins jkjkjk I really have no idea what else they could do.

January: toe nail trimmings from the soundsational parade drum line!
February: Finger nail trimmings from the Janitors of Fantasyland!
March: old eyelashes collected from your favorite princesses!

Thinking about this all night, one of the only things I could come up with is Piece of the Disney Cruises. IDK what, but it would be a piece of an old hull or something like that, not a towel or anything. I mean, I think of the quintessential Disney things. When I think of Disney I think of the movies, theme parks, and cruises. When it comes to movies, what more can you do besides the film strips? As for the parks, the parks are made up of attractions and the character themselves, they did or are doing both now. The only thing left I can see it honestly something relating to the Cruise ships.

However, I wish they would do more of the Piece of Disney history and I wish they would make some of the Ellen's Energy Adventure. I think a pin with Ellen Degeneres on the front would be hysterical. Her or Oprah because despite Oprah not being directly tied to Disney, you can never go wrong with Oprah
 
I would love a series involving Disney's old propaganda, especially WWII propaganda. I doubt it would be that popular though. Though WWII is most peoples favorite part of history, you could also do a lot with the propaganda. I am probably the only person who wants that though XD

A piece of your Disney vacation. They take your picture at the park and put it on/in the pin like the PODM.

Upside: A very cool original pin that would have great sentimental value.

Downside: It would be a worthless trader because who wants a pin with a picture of someone else's family in it.

Piece of Disney... on Ice! (get it before the pieces melt XD )
Piece of Disney Lights (it also glows! Just gotta put in that battery in!)

Piece of Disney Cel (though they probably won't do this since there's not that many copies >>)
Piece of Disney Production (i duno... part of something when they were making the film... maybe color ink for the cels or pencil shavings from the sketches or eraser shavings from the...)
Piece of Disney Stars (i duno.. the voice actors' and voice actresses's air that they breathed. can't tell the airs' difference? or your pin didn't come with said air? liessss)
Piece of Disney Figurines (when they create animation, they make like 3D models. so now they chop off a piece of arm and put it in the pin...)


I feel like they'll eventually bring this back. I know Disney sells just cells on like bookmarks or like framed and they're not as popular as the pins. Money talks so I feel like they probably don't want to miss out on all the cash that's rolling in from these little PODMs.

Piece of Disney Costume? Costume from... musicals? from people in the park? Confused...
