Well as people might know I visit the UK a few times a year and I always set up a pin meet so I can see everyone and show some of the new pins Ive aquired and vice versa and do some trading.

This time I was picking up pins I had arranged to purchase from 2 members (Anastasia and Masamune), Secret Santa, and a few trades as well.

I came away with all of these -

the PTN lightning McQueen was from Tanya (Anastasia) who was my secret Santa which I was very shocked to see and was very happy to see it Thankyou. I also purchased the Jumbos, PTN Aurora and white rabbit from Tanya which helped me out for my PTN collection. And Scat Cat PTN was for my birthday present.

I purchased the PTN Tarzan boy and Merlin off Lindsay (Masamune) and traded her for the Stitch invasion series as Prince Phillip.

And our other friend Jacqui (I think is on the forum) gave me the Stitch as Tigger pin for my birthday and I was able to trade for the other 2 Japan pins from her.

All in all it was a great day to catch up with everyone and do pick up pins I had been waiting on for months.

Feel free to share what you all got from the Manchester Pin meet haha.

Glad you love all your pins Danny. XD

This is what I got:

The 2 Evilos vinyl pins, Scrump pin and the magnifying glass were from Danny (thanks :) ), the Belle and Beast pin was my secret santa from Jacqui and I traded for the other pins with Lindsay (Masamune) and Stephen.

It was a really great day, followed by a great evening of chatting and catching up with everyone! Danny's birthday meal was great too. All in all, a fantastic day.

I'll be there!!! can't wait :D and don't worry about not having anything to trade!!!! It's nice to be able to put faces to the names and talk about pins :D

Grats on the pins guys. I may be going to a pin meet in Southampton in December...

Exactly. To be honest it's more about meeting up with everyone and having a get together than the pins/vinyls for me! lol Nice to come away with some great pins too though.

ooops forgot to say what great pins both Danny and Anastasia picked up.
Danny I am very, very jealous of the Jumbo PTN pins:drool:

White rabbit usually goes for more than $40 -$50 upwards of around $70 - $80 all older ptn pins do with some exceptions which go for even more of course

Jacqui

Jacqui I think your thinking older value market as I remember you saying the PTN stitch fetches $500 which it doesnt nowadays as no one has the money to be spending. Ive had the white rabbit pin twice for $40 shipped both from ebay and BIN. Prices are high on some but then most Ive seen Ive gotten for less than $50 due to people needing the more and quick sales.

Yes there are ebay sellers who try and sell PTN for $100 but those are american sellers and try to do so even with new PTN's which frankly no one is going to pay.

Belated Birthday Wishes Danny! Sorry we couldn't make it, it would have been great to see everyone again, glad to hear it was such a wonderful day :)
