I'm not even sure whether or not this should go here, but I just saw my Grail on Ebay for like 80% off, but I'm not allowed to buy it.... O.O I feel so elated yet disappointed at the same time..... Is it allowed for someone to buy that pin and trade it to me, or is that against the 'Moral Pin Trading Rules'? I'm still quite new to this, so I'm really not sure about anything on here.... :anxious:

Thanks for the help! Also, I just went to DL and bought/traded for some pins there too- I'm not sure what I should do to show the ones I could trade- do I put them all somewhere, or do I post them? :3 *Is confuzzled*

you can post the pins you have for trade here (picture or #), you can also give your pinpics or dpp name so we can check your traders (if you have an account) I think people want to know what range it is or what pin. some more info would be helpful. where do you live ? Europe or USA ?

My Pinpics UN is also Snowie, and I live in the US.

I believe I have just a few of my pins on my Pinpics account- is that see-able to everyone? :3 I have more pins if necessary.... (a few LE)


And, my current grail is a 'The Little Mermaid PODM', and scene- I would just die in happiness with this PODM.... *sighs* And I just saw it on EBAY with 15 hours left and only sat $39 USD- Seems legit, too! (and seemed like a good price....)
 
It's not forbidden to ask someone to buy it so then you can trade for it, but sometimes if it is a grail that several people want, you run the danger of losing the grail to someone who could buy it for themselves, or someone who may try to outbid you in buying it.

I looked at your PinPics trades list and you only have 2 pins on it. I'm not sure, but I don't think they are equivalent price (2 Hidden Mickeys?) for 1 PODM, considering most people value newer HMs at about $1-5 each (depending on the character) and PODMs retail at $24.95 + tax (and are valued from the minimum retail to at most 10-20 times retail, depending on the scene; I think common scenes are between 1.5 to 3 times retail? depending on the movie).

You will need to add more traders to your PinPics as soon as possible, and if you say there are only 15 hours left for the eBay auction, you might not find a trader that fast. Good luck!
 
I think I just found the pin you're talking about on ebay... It's an auction, not a buy now, so in the 5 hours it has left, it might climb quite a bit in price.
 
I also am able to get some pins (probably) from DL this weekend, so if there's anything you think you would like (perhaps even LE pins from there- IDK how many of each would be left) that I could possibly get to buy for this pin- I really just want to trade for one of these- preferably new, and any cell is fine with me. c:
 
Pretty sure theres nothing at DL right now that would be an even trade... sorry!!! PODMs trade really well.
 
Erm... I don't believe that I can be there tomorrow- do they only sell them at the event, or would they sell any leftovers over the weekend? :3 I'm really banking on this now.... :c

I think event only. But considering it is a frozen pin, there will be no leftovers (way too popular)
 
Thanks! I shall keep that in mind- I'll still get at least one pin- what pin SHOULD I get to trade? :3 Any opinions? I'm still quite the noob... No idea what would be popular- and I'll still keep an eye out for that pin, though!
 
I think most LE pins would make good traders. You can try to get the L'Eau de Magique pins (princess perfume bottles) or a piece of history if available. those would make good traders I think. If you don't like the pin don't get it, just focus on things you like. And you can make a wanted thread on the forum here. in the trade section. maybe that helps
 
I believe you said that you're not concerned with the scene? If that's the case, then you have time to build up your traders a bit so that you have a few things that are worth a PODM and then you might be able to trade for it at that point. I know the Little Mermaid PODM is not nearly as hard to trade for as other PODMs. And I'm sure another one will come up on ebay soon if you think that in the future you will be able to buy it then. I'm sorry that it's not better news, but you shouldn't lose hope.
 
I think a lot of people do want to trade a podm for multiple other nice LE pins. as you are able to visit the parks (most people aren't) you should find some decent traders (podh and perfume bottles) I hope you can manage to get one soon !
 
Thanks for the feedback! c: I'll try to get a small world PODH pin this time around and keep an eye out for the Anna pins- I'm actually not able to go to the parks often, but I have many friends who do travel there often... c:

the Small World PODH is a good pin to get. there are lots of Small World collectors and lots of PODH collectors. if you have friends who go often but arent pin collectors, show them pics of the pin you want before they leave! otherwise they might get onfused and ask a CM and we all know that some CMs know NOTHING about pins and will steer them in the wrong direction. its best to show your friends what you want. I speak from experience!
 
I have showed them the picture of the pin, but they just informed me that they might cancel the trip because of personal issues

well, Disneyland releases new pins every month, so there will be other opportunities! you will get your PODM eventually.
