Haha man i cant wait to read this! Honestly i dont care what everyone says about the unofficial line. I would do it again it was so much fun and we got closer to a few people. Hahaha it was a blast! Thank you guys for making this camp out awesome!

WOW!!!! It is sad really, how these things go at times. The simple fact is as long as there is a market for them on the Bay at such a high price the sharks will come. Truthfully I don't care about all that, but the arguing and fighting is sad to me. I wish pin traders could just get along. I think Disney should up the price on their releases enough to hire guards to monitor the lines to keep everyone in line. Pin people would pay for it but it would be worth it in the end. I also think people should just be able to show up and get the wrist bands or whatever they are using these days. They should be numbered in order they are given out. On the day of release they should just line up in order and get their pins. All these lines are asking for trouble. If you could just show up ask for a "GOLDEN TICKET" in which all is prearranged this would all be avoided. Make the people sign something so they can not transfer their ticket to anyone else and there you go. One ticket per person. If the lines are the problem, so take away the lines and you take away the problem. The only line you would have is the one that would form on the possibility that there are left overs and that one would have the guard. Sounds good anyway. I am sure someone would complain about that too. Glad I wasn't there!

If people weren't pissed at DSF before tis announcement, they surely must be now. I know that stuff happens, but they really are screwing up very badly as of late and must have known this prior to the whole line madness at 7:45pm. Good job, DSF, you probably just lost more customers.

I think God was looking out for Drew and I this week! Drew had to work all week and I was planing on coming but my work needed me there the rest of the week also! I was really upset that I wasn't going to get the pins... All I really wanted was Bolt for myself but I can wait if its going to be crazy like this! This was the worst release ever and I was saved from it all! Haha! For all my friends out there today I hope you have a safe trip home!

....must have known this prior to the whole line madness at 7:45pm.

They absolutely knew. How could they not?

Good job, DSF, you probably just lost more customers.

Unfortunately not. They have something people want.

Like others have said I think it is time that Disney find another avenue for distributing pins. It just doesn't work at DSF anymore. They should continue on with pins that make sense such as marquees and ptd pins but that is it. Although there were issues with ordering on DS.com i'm sure it was no where near as bad as DSF.

Echo, maybe you should be reaching out to the victim of this bully. That would be good Karma.

now thats good karma agreed! I think I saw her and had no idea what had happened, I did not know she was shoved, and had no idea why that guy that had been there for 3 days was suddenly back with me, now it's clear, I wish I could help her.

I am without words...except to say, that I am SO GLAD I decided NOT to attend this DSF pin release. It has been an education to watch the events of this release unfold.
Peace-out, everyone!

As far as DSF losing customers there will always be someone to take your place. There were tons of people that did not get a wrist band by the sound of it and one of them will just take the "lost customers" place. Kind of like a low paying job during a recession. It sucks but there tons of people out there that would love to have it. As long as they get their money they don't care and there will always be those around to get the pins as long as they are so valuable. Handing out the tickets or whatever ahead of time is the best alternative for all. That would take away the need to camp out or line up early. It would also end the "real" line "fake" line scenario. It is truly an easy solution. I don't know what they didn't start doing it a long time ago.
