From the DSF FB page… not sure if someone posted it already but I figured I should add it:

We will not be allowing guests to line up for any pin release more than 24 hours before the actual release.

As far as this Saturday's release, guests will not be allowed to line up until the 7:45 PM show has been let into the theater.

Unfortunatly, thats what they said about the Jessica release, but there were people "unofficially" lined up in the Alley most of the day Friday.

Well, DSF wont honor any unofficial lines so maybe we can go back to the good old days when if they say a line up started at 7. People can relax and get there at 630 and have a solid place in line with no stampeding people :) . ::sigh:: we really miss those days!

Shouldn't it say, we will not be allowing line-ups more than 14 hours before the release? If the 7:45 pm show is let into the theater at 7:15 pm, that's 14 hours before the release.

The first sentence reads that it would be okay to show up on Friday at 9 am. Then you read the second line. Anyhow, confusing?!

the first part was for future releases

An orderly unofficial line is a lot safer than a potential bum rush to get in line. I think all the pin veterans understand and honor the unofficial line and the unofficial line should be unofficially honored by everyone intending to get in line.

Think safety folks. These things aren't worth getting into fights over or potentially becoming injured. That's my opinion, anyway.

Why do people keep saying there's going to be a rush? People say that for every release and I've never seen it happen.
