Hey everyone! So I am Curious to see what you all might say. What pin would you pick if you had to choose just one to buy?

choices:
Pin 32844: Disney Auctions - Princess Friends (Ariel)

Pin 80648: Disney Tangled - Opening Day

Pin 79129: DisneyStore.com - Pearl Medallion Princess (Ariel)

I'd go with Pin 32844: Disney Auctions - Princess Friends (Ariel) if you genuinely like all three, because as the one with the lowest edition size I think that'll be the hardest to find again.

Also from Disney Auctions and therefore,
older and possibly of higher quality.
 
Whatever makes the best trader. :D To be honest I'm not sure as I don't collect any Princess themed pins... but other folks seem to have a good idea about this. :lol: I guess a Disney Auctions would be the best bet though.
 
My thought was the Friends pin if you were wanting to get a good pin as a trader, but as one to keep for a collection it would have to be the Pearl Medallion. I love that pin, it's just so cute and it's Ariel in her pink dress! I mean come on! But what others have said as far as the Friends pin being better in terms of numbers is totally true. On the other hand though, I don't think I would ever spend the money on that pin only to trade it for something else unless that is the only pin that someone else wanted and that person had a big time grail of mine and agreed to a trade. But that's just me :)

Nah, I would never spend this much money just for a trader. This would be for the collection. The problem with the pearl medallion is that I don't see any for sale at the moment. I love all three of these pins, but I think I might just have to go with the auctions. I mean, that would be my very first! It's a special one.

Finally somebody with some sense. :lol: The pearl medallion is the best looking one. Besides if it is on my most wanted it must be awesome. :poke:

Look at that new shiny signature! ;) and yes, the pearl medallion is one of my top 5 favorites. Pink dress and Ariel! What could go wrong? I don't see any for sale at the moment... :(
 
Okay, confession... I personally would buy the Pearl Medallion one- the Best Friends isn't actually on my wants. But as all three are on your signature, I think if you have an opportunity to buy one RIGHT NOW I would recommend the one that will (likely) be hardest to find later. :)
 
If someone is offering all 3 for the same price, BUY THEM ALL :lol: but if just one, the Best Friends is the best deal. Now if they are all what they normally go for, I'd go with the Pearl Medallion. I've seen all 3 of those pins in person and I think the Pearl Medallion is my favorite by far (hence why it's the only one on that list I own). I like the Best Friends pin, it's big, but when I saw it I didn't even add it to my Wants since I didn't think it was all that nice (it looks great with the set but alone it's way to similar to the LM Lithograph pin which is 3D as well). None are up for sale, but patience is a virtue, and maybe with the leftover money you save from this pin you can buy something else nice too in the near future ;)

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( Well, here's a flip side…at least now you don't have to part with all that $$$. That's always a hard part for me, spending the money to get those hard pins that no one ever seems to want to trade. So at least there's that. But I know it sucks when a pin you want gets sold before you can rationalize the purchase, for whatever reason, to yourself. What kills me even more than that though, is when I just plain miss the auction because I forgot or something else came up. That really sucks. It just happened to me last week on one of my big time wants and I'm still gutted about it. But, now we both have a little more money in our pockets, which is a good thing, and I really do believe that {rather annoying} point that people always seem to tell me when a pin passes me by: there are other pins out there and in time and you will get the one that is meant to come home to your house. In the meantime though, I'll keep my eyes open for ya! Big hugs!
 
Thank you Nikki. You made me feel a bit better about it. Nothing I can do, but maybe something better will come my way soon. Sorry to hear you didn't get your pin either. It happens :/
