Where has the fun gone in pin trading??

I got in to collecting about 10 years ago and never really traded until I went to DLRP about 5 years ago. I agree that 2 main things tend to drag my pin trading life down:
1. The amount of scrappers and the fact they are being sold on eBay as if they were real.
2. Rare pins being offered on eBay for ridiculous prices.

For me especially, because I don't live anywhere near a Park, my only sources of pins to trade are eBay or buying off of traders who I've met on here. So that makes it a lot harder and the fun can go out of it. What makes it nice for me are the people: when you trade with them their commitment to honest, fun, pin trading shows.

I always think how did Disney intend this? Then I try and do it that way.
