Titel says it. I am a total disney geek failure. I have never seen the "Lonesome ghosts" cartoon and thus have no clue what to expect for the PODM release later this month.

So, with that in mind:
  1. can someone find a decent video of the cartoon for me to see?
  2. What framnes/scenes do you guys want, hope to see, hope they skip?
 
ok. after watching... My prediction:

The "crew" sleeping at the phone
Mickey at the beginning with the ghost right behind him walking.
Donald and ghost fighting (mad donald)
The four ghosts tap dancing away from the "crew"
Goofy looking in the mirror
the "crew" covered in flour.

Now, which one willbe the "money shot?" lol

If it were me, it would be at 1:32 in the video. With Donald wrapped up in the cord between Goofy and Mickey. However, if I were collecting this one, I would also want one with Donald and the Ghost when Donald is in his classic "mad" pose. Mickey with the gun would also be interesting, because current Disney might not want Mickey shown that way (for example, they removed Mickey with the Musket from most Fort Wilderness stuff).

Haha, this is actually the only PODM I want to get my hands on! When I was little I had these books that had like little records on each page that were played with a Fisher-Price Talk-To-Me Player (did anyone else growing up in the 80's have these?). Anyway I LOVED them, they were my favorite toys, and Lonely Ghosts was one of the stories you could buy (I think it was actually called 'Ghost Chasers' when it was adapted for the book, it was the same story/plot though). I played it over and over. So I have a strong nostalgic connection to this one! Can't wait to see the scenes. Maybe I can get someone to pick one up for me.

Also, I just got back from WDW yesterday, and on the Disney Magical Express bus ride from the resorts to the airport they played this short on the TV! I was super excited, lol.

Ah the only PODM I want. I just want a scene with the ghosts. After all my collection is very ghost/ghoul related.
 
I would love for them to do the scene where they are all getting the phone call, or a shot with Mickey. Tho I'm still not sure where to put my Mickey PODM pins yet! :doh:

I mean, Steamboat Willie made sense because it's so iconic, but I'd never even heard of this short until now. Pluto's Christmas Tree looks nice though. I'm excited for that one
 
I can't figure out why they didn't follow through with movie scenes instead of cartoons . They could have done August ... UP or Lilo & Stitch, October ... Nightmare Before Christmas, and if they wanted something Chrismasy for December ... Mickey's Christmas Carol .
 

Had they done Nightmare I would have camped out in the park for days to get that pin!!!!
 
Going to make myself feel old.. but the first time I saw Lonesome Ghosts was on this little beauty... (pic borrowed since I have no idea what box mine is tucked away in)
