Wish I had known about/seen the link. Oh well will put this one down to experience as well. Hopefully there will be something I want before christmas
 
I was refreshing since 7.20 we just updated our internet to fibre optic so it's pretty fast, it did start to slow down come release time but I guess it was everyone refreshing. Still only took about 5 seconds to load at it's longest.

ive been doing some reading on Facebook and here it looks like the site crashed for some :(

I'll give firefox a shot next release I'm trying for. IE10 is nothing but troubles anyways, might help to change browsers.

it froze for me when I clicked on the pin :( like took about 2 or 3 minutes to load onto the actual pin page!
 
First I got kicked out, I noticed it was much slower then the site crashed momentarily just after I finished check out, I got a page with Mike saying I must have gone through the wrong door :io: there was so much traffic on the site. I won't be surprised if I get a cancellation email. Also express delivery doesn't make a difference, I have ordered pins via standard delivery when others who paid for next day got their order cancelled.
 
The site was unusually fast for me and I didn't have any problems checking out (unlike Art of Ariel). I just want that dispatch email! I guess we'll find out by the end of today whether any have been cancelled or not :sad:
 
Hmm, kind of wishing I upgraded delivery now too... Are you more likely to have your order fulfilled if you pay for next day?

They have to process your delivery sooner, literally by the end of the day at the latest, where as if it's standard then you're order is sitting at the bottom of the pile, increasing the chance of it being cancelled.

Post #108 in this thread, Steve posted the links that take you directly to the pin. I figured everyone had already gotten theirs so I just clicked to see what happened and it let me add the item to the bag and proceed to checkout, but without a UK credit card, it didn't go through.
 
How can someone else be faster, when you are pressing f5 for 15 minutes, and someone managed to buy it before 8.01 (if conformation mail comes at 8.01, it means you got it long before that time), and it didn't show for others untill 8.08 while pressing f5 the entire time.

I was completely checked out at 8.01 because I was refreshing the actual page for the pin, and not the page for the pin section. So the pin appeared for me right away at 8, while it didn't appear onto the pin section until almost 8:09. That's why I was able to get it so early
 
We have all been there :( and FYI, for those that do not know, I live near Disneyland, so I can't order items from the European sites either...I posted the links last night to help fellow pin collectors.

I didn't try to buy one, I was having a pretty bad day yesterday so ended up staying up quite late watching Disney vids online with my sis to try and make myself feel better. I didn't think a stressful pin release would be a good thing to add to my anxiety anyhow.

Congratulations to everybody who managed to get a pin. :)
 
Huge sigh of relief , just got my dispatch email. I don't know how to get the link so must have been one of the last to get it checked out at 8.11.
 
I got an email saying sth that there were duplicate orders (more specifically that I did that) and that so they canceled my order???? I did not put in duplicate orders! Did anybody else get that???

A friend of mine may have gotten one that I can trade but still, I am scared now that hers might have been canceled as well :/
