We’ll, I had the date wrong and it was for today, so I was not off to an auspicious start. I am proud to say that I did answer three questions correctly. Unfortunately it takes 5 to win. But it was fun to play.

I will say that a fellow DPFer also played (as did her sister) and she got second place!!

We’re actually gonna sleep in and enjoy food and wine tomorrow. Haven’t been here in 3 years, and haven’t done food and wine before, so fitting in some park fun too. :)

And I actually pulled Tigger to give my sister as part of her birthday. :(

The event was handled way better today IMO! They handled our the wristbands better, organized the line and made sure no one was cutting, and made sure everyone went in in an orderly manner instead of a free for all!

And then there was the three pulls per tab, and the much more frequent refreshes-- I was pleased. I also got lucky and got a higher caliber of pins off the board.

I'm a teensy bit disappointed that there were no characters to meet but I know they didn't promise them.

Wonderful the day went better. Love the Cheshire pull. All your pins are great.
 
Overall it was one of the better managed events. Few hiccups especially with things tried first time (since literally 95% of its identical to the last 10+ years)
but all in all (besides the reduction in gifts/premiums /sizes of gifts) it was worth it.
 
I think they tend to just use really broad themes to give them a lot of leeway. Like the recent "Animation" one. Although I guess that theme leaves parks out of it. But still, pretty broad.
