OH i check :) here in italy will be 18 ( 6pm ... i really hope in the uk site...they will say something? They say yes on the uk site (is in "designer doll" section)...i hope the hour is good... after 17 :)
 
They've Arrived!!! :D

My beauties have come home! :D

The first challenge was maneuvering the 35-lb box into the house without damaging it or anything around it. :shock:

They came boxed in two's...and of course the last box I opened housed the two princesses I collect.

O MY GOSH!!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! THEY ARE ALL GORGEUS!!!!! RAPUNZEL AND TIANA :D o my gosh!!!
Rapunzel has long long hair,yay? I dont see them in the photos :D

See that image of all 10 togheter make me happy :D :D YAY!!!!!! I HOPE I WILL HAVE MY PUNZY TOO AND SHOW HER WITH JOY :D

If they release at 12 noon (or shortly after) eastern time, isn't that 11 central, not 10:15? I'm in CST and online is my only option! I'm pretty sure its 11 though!

Some things I forgot to add to my post earlier (I was just so excited! lol):

-For the most part, they arrived intact. My Mulan is missing one of her hairpins, which results in some fly-away black thread that's kind of annoying. I tried shaking the case a little to see if it fell behind/underneath her dress, but so far no luck. Rapunzel came with the back board torn and the base broken on the side. It's a good thing I would never resell her, so I'm not too worried about her "value".

-Upon closer admiration, though Snow White and Rapunzel are my favorite of the original illustrations, I definitely have to say that Tiana and Ariel are my favorites of the actual dolls. They're all beautiful, but these two in my opinion are just gorgeous!

-I'm debating whether or not I want to open up some of the cases. I know the dresses for Rapunzel, Tiana, and Snow White open up fuller since they're tied down in the back, and part of me just wants to let 'em loose in their full glory. ;)
 
I was just in Chicago at one of the Disney Stores there, and she was ready for a mad house on Monday. They've got extra people working in the morning just because of the dolls.

They are closing the web site at 10:15 central time and the will go on sale 11 am central time.

Oh i am so jalous! ... Feelikng sorry for the flower of mulan and i think ariel is the best with tiana and pocy ( i admit that..they are similar to the arts)..but i love the green eyes of punzel.

And c'mon! You never sell them! Is YOUR 44 treasure :D Here in italy we have a song say 44 number is lucky! :)
You should (for tiana and punzel) show them with all theyr BEAUTY. Tiana has such a cute face :) and punzel too :D
Now i want her so more and more and more :( But yes they all LOOK wonderful!!!!!

I would say that if you are never planning on selling your favorites, go ahead and free the dolls from their restraints. The doll packaging is fine for the gowns that have more form-fitting skirts, but for Snow White, Rapunzel, & Tiana, their dresses would definitely look better with the fabric arranged about them more naturally. Also, Snow White's cloak would look so much better not plastered to her dress.

As a side note, dolls that are taken out of the box and displayed do generally lose their resale value to some degree, but popular, very well-made dolls that are kept in top condition can still sell well on eBay. It all depends on how popular and in-demand the doll is for a standard auction, or whether or not you find a person willing to buy your listed Buy-It-Now price.

In any case, enjoy the dolls! Like all art objects, that is what they are there for!
 
Yes the whole set looks great, thanks for the photos. Especially of the shipping box, lol I wondered how they were going to ship all ten out together.
 
On the Facebook page the DS answered someone's questions about a buy all 5 option and said that would not be available, each one will have to be added individually to the cart online. I was hoping for a bundle option to slow down site traffic but maybe not having one will help the resellers get less.
 
I think a bundle of 5 would be too difficult for their inventory count. Would they have to appropriate a number of dolls to be sold to the bundle vs alone? If they don't, how would the count adjust to show a doll was sold in a bundle and then in a single order? What happens when one doll is sold out completely, do the people who ordered the bundle of 5 now just get the the 4 remaining ones? Too many ways a bundle could come to bite them in the butt!
 
Just in case anyone thought about it because I know I did for a minute, there is a seller with a buy it now up for the future dolls that does not have them and confirmed this when I asked him if he could ship ASAP.

Oooh thanks! Yeah, they're definitely not going anywhere. ;) And Snow White looks gorgeous deboxed. Yep. I definitely think I'll have to do that...once I figure out where I'm going to put them! Lol
 
if im lucky enough to get Jasmine i will be really tempted to get into the box so i could turn her head around lol why does she have to be looking a different way to all the girls i want to see her pretty face:D
