What to do....

So, I've finally heard back from 2 of the 4 people that are trading the Pluto Stamp Chaser [pinpics]82751[/pinpics] on PinPics. Unfortunately, both said no or wanted an SUPER unbalanced trade for it (i.e., DA or PTN pins).

I'm left with the question of what to do now. I really want the pin, but I'm not going lose my shirt for it. Anyone have any thoughts? Or, anyone else have that pin? :drool:

yeah that is so weird, not only on pinpics but also in person people been asking so much for this pin, but not sure why, i mean it didn't seem too rare to me since i got a few of these back when i was trying to complete my set. i had to trade an decent classic D (the wdw tinker bell classic D LE1000) for this pluto pin because it was for this older lady who's husband had died the week before and they were working hard to get the regular and chaser pins of the characters they collect and they were just missing goofy(which i had at the moment) and then pluto chaser which i didn't had bt this guy had, but all he wanted was either a LE250 for it or 3 stamps back or my Classic D so i decided to trade for the classic D, it was not a fair trade for me but at the end it made me happy to help the lady and she cried of joy which made me happiest. anyways, sorry i got side tracked... my advise is, be patient or let me see what i can do for you, those 4 people trading them wants something pretty good for their stamps and well is their pin so we have to respect their opinion on wanting a lot for it, but if i come across it i will try to trade it for it and i will let you know.

i always go with my gut and my budget.....you may not get it this week, or this month or this season, hense the point of collecting. I truly have found that all pins you want will come to you, eventually! Joke in my house, thats the answer to any question i ask...aka " when r u takin the garbage out?" EVENTUALLY. Seriously how important is it to you to have it now? thats all. I hope you get a new trade tomorrow that you feel happy with. I will keep my old eyes peeled for that pin.

I'd just buy it. Why trade a $35 value pin for it when you can just buy it for $24 (or less) on ebay?

I don't believe that pin is on the bay actually. I've been keeping my eye on the bay mystery pins lol I recently decided to start collecting them (crazy I know lol) but I'm only after the colors not the chasers at least.

Thanks all! I am totally just going to buy it if it comes up on eBay, but it hasn't in several months. I do need to learn some patience as everything will happen in due course. Any help out there is great, but I will just keep my fingers crossed. On a total side note, does anyone know if they are still selling the stamps in packs?

This is strange. I just went to eBay at 3:56 pm ET to see if this pin was for sale, and it was for $24.99. But when I clicked on it, it said the listing had ended. I went and checked when it ended and apparently someone bought it at 3:54 pm ET.

So close! Oh, well keep looking!

Ha ha! Thanks to erudolf, I was actually the purchaser of it. I was not going to let it slip away. Thanks everyone for helping me get this one! It is a great pin week! Lots of luck, and I owe lots of others good karma.
