WDW PTN fun has begun
Looks like fun, have to plan to go to one in the future. Just need to convince the wife. I do not think she understands the appeal to Disney pins.

Need the FRI the 13th one too..I see pins up to September anything after that..like Oct or Nov?will be at WDW in Nov

My Mom asked someone, not sure who...October PODM is Lonesome Ghosts (another short), November is Beauty and the Beast!

So here are the bad photos of the Epcot 30th pins. I can see just enough to see that I'll go broke...Figment mystery set!

Me too....

Oh, trying to look at the mystery set a little closer. It has icons for each of the attractions! I noticed that it had the Dino from UoE and SMRT-1 from Communicore, but now I see the attraction icons. Yes, very, very, very broke.

So then I can tell there is a Kitchen Kabaret pin, Body Wars shuttle on the Wonders of Life pin, etc

I don't think there were very many pins from Oct/Nov because the CM there said they were only previewing through September. The princesses at the bottom of the OE board look really interesting, they are stylized versions of Ariel, Aurora, Snow White, Rapunzel, Belle, and Cinderella. I wonder who designed them.
I also really like the New Fantasyland Reveal/Conceal.

I was hoping we would see a date for the princess shoe pins, but those weren't part of the preview.

Just talked to my parents and they got my Dumbo pins. Yay! They got into the line at 4:20, and my Dad counted 120 people in front of them, when the line was sparse, so that right before doors opening, obviously there were a lot more people in front of them. When they went in, they just were at the back of the ballroom, and the line stretched all the way to the front. So my Dad was surprised that they seemed to have a lot of Dumbo PTN pins left when they were able to purchase. So the question he has is are they really LE500 or are there really that many people that skipped purchasing the pins since they are $15.95. I guess Vinylmation collectors would skip a pin. Any comments from regular attendees?

We always show up right around 6 and have never had a problem getting the event pin. It's just a matter of waiting an hour in a slow line.

ahhh I need that LM set!! :D and the "styled" Ariel... could someone please post a better pic? :) Thanks everyone for the pics so far :) hope you all get your grails! :D

I got to the event around 5:35pm. I went right to the retail line and waited almost 85 minutes. I was very surprised how many Epcot LE, Dumbo PTN and Friday 13th Jumbos were still available by the time we got to front.

It was so much fun! It was so great to finally meed everybody I haven't! I look forward to the next PTN!
I made over 100 trades, yippee!
