Hello, I have been told that some of you sell trader pins for $2-$3 each, if these are authentic pins I would love to buy some up to add to my trader set. :p

Also...I am looking for Star Wars/Star Tours pins for my keeper set. I am not ready to start buying the fancy ones or high dollar ones...just ones to get my collection rolling. I currently own very few SW/ST so I am open to almost any pins at fair prices. Just keep me in mind, I will bump this thread every now and then to keep it active.

Thanks, Patrick.

hey patrick you can check out the sale threads. i do have about 50 trader pins mint on cards if you are interested $2-$3 each but i can do better if you buy a bunch. no lanyard pins or hidden mickeys, all rack pins from WDW

happy trades
Kirk

To be honest I dont know why I even want traders seeing has how the CM are were I got ALL my fakes from, but I just cant help it. Should I even be looking for traders or just focusing on my collection pins?

Personally I just focus on collection pins, especially with star wars. I only collect star wars pins and it is once in a blue moon that i come across a trader who actually has one of my high end wants. So for me i find traders a waste of time. Also since your not close to the park traders are not as effective because you have to do all your trading through pinpics, and you can only send requests to people who want your pin whereas in the park a trader pin might catch someones eye even if wasn't originally on their wants. In the end i figure by the time i have bought 5 traders sent out a bunch of trade requests hoping for a bite on one of them, you could of just bought the pin. Although then you miss out on the pin trading component, but ultimately it's a personal choice. Sorry for being length and hope that helps :)

I find it's good to have traders if you want to trade with folks here, or bid on trade auctions, even if you don't want to trade on Pinpics or with cast members. Not everyone goes that route, but sometimes someone has something you really want for your collection and they're only trading it, not selling it. Or sometimes something you really want might come up in a trade auction, and you need to have some pins you're actually willing to part with that will make a decent and fair bid.

So, whether you should be getting traders or not really depends on whether you want to do those things.

i agree with both answers a bit,
being in NY i dont get to trade in person much but without my trader pins i would be lost on here. its also good to have trader pins if you ever do go to the parks so you dont have to hurry and buy them before you go on vacation. I was dumb, i went and bought tons of pins in WDW and at the outlet to use as traders and ended offering really nice pins for lanyards full of crap and mini pins. lol. so they are good to have if you want to trade at pin trading events or in the parks or on here, but not necessary if you are only collecting. but what will you use to get the pins you want.....hmmmm, ok i think you do need trader pins in all cases unless you are going to buy every pin you want for your collection. but you will need better traders for better pins. the $2-$3 pins are good for park lanyards but dont trade super well for better pins on this forum.
ok good night
happy trades
Kirk
