I have a mighty strong tickling feeling that it's someone from around here, because I don't know anyone else who'd know to call it a "grail". ;)

Le sigh. I don't foresee a Tangled marquee ANYWHERE in my near future...

The price doesn't seem so bad in British pounds for the opening bid. Not that I have that money at the moment as I'm saving up for DLRP next year, but if I did it would be kind of tempting. Only kind of though lol.

People really only charge those prices because there are people willing to pay those prices
If they don't sell, than the price will drop over time

And starting your bid at $500 is a nice way for ebay to take a large sum of your cash, lol
This makes me want to buy a nice LE pin that is still cheap right now, and hold onto it for a while :)
Any ideas? Stitch related of course, lol

Go for a more recent stitch... like the box pin set from the phantom manor pin event dlrp just did. save that puppy for a couple years. lol

Its times like this when I wish I had a time machine and went to the tangled pin release with my entire family LOL make 2000 from selling 4 pins...
LOL im jk but really I wish I could go back in time and get at least one for myself seeing how I will never afford it...
unless 4 of us pitch in 100 each and share it :) LOL

Ill hold onto the pin and send you pics every day, that sound good? ^_^
jk ;P

And as for the box set, I saw someone on here was selling one but never did list a price
I haven't seen that thread in a while, any idea what they were asking for it (and i almost feel like I might not be able to afford a 3 pin set -.- )

I see your $400 for Tangled Marquee .... and .....

counter you with Disney Soda Fountain Pin El Capitan Marquee Pixar "Up" Carl LE 150 LOT for $1749.99 OBO

For those of you who could not manage to grow $$ tree in your backyards, I have few extra seeds.

I am also working on a break through way to grow it in up-side-down hanging containers for apartment dwellers

The problem is you are trying to grow a tree, you need to try a money plant. I found one in Gibraltar.

That price is crazy ridiculous for those UP pins. Even if you put the marquee at the top ridiculous selling price, it still comes out to be like $900 total. That person is on something...

and if you buy that marquee for $400 then you are part of the problem, not part of the solution. JUST SAY NO (to ridiculous prices)! ha!

I broke down and bought the Cinderell marquee for $60 which I thought was a fair BIN price. With another possibly coming next month the older one may become more desirable. I have been doing my best to keep away from the high price marquees lately, even though I really want a lot of them. Cars 1 right now for $122 is killing me. I already have Meet the Robinsons, paid $16 for it maybe 4 months ago. I feel bad for the people that are just starting their marquee collection or that just want a marquee because it happens to fit their other collection. Well, I feel less bad for Up and Tangled collectors, there are just way too many people trying to get that stuff. I am almost positive I will never get Walle, Tangled, Up, or Enchanted now unless I get some crazy rare pin in the future. I wonder what will be the next big park release item once the PODM pins are all done?

I'd like to think after the first 2 or 3 of a specific pin sell that the prices will come back down to reality once these rich buyers get what they want for their collection. As for the resellers, I heard someone bought the My-D pins Enchanted for $200 just to resell it. BOOOO to them! If they list it for $300 I hope they get stuck with it and then someone finds like 20 Enchanted pins and drops the value to $50. Like Storage Wars when someone gets a unit dumped on them. Alas, the pin market seems to go off recent sold prices so these won't come down for a while. But like I said, perhaps once this crazy buyers group gets what they want then we will finally get some sane prices. I've already seen drops in prices on Avengers, Little Mermaid w/ blue background, Ursula, Toy Story 3, etc.
If people keep listing them they will only continue to drop I think. Tangled seems to have gone the other way though, it was $150-$175 just a few months ago, now it's $300-$400?? I think their are people selling Brave DSF sets and Tangled PODM pins for profit and parlaying that money into these marquee's. Or they wealthy to begin with or they have a new credit card balance. That's just too much money. But it's not my money, so maybe I shouldn't speculate.

Funny, I just traded for a Marquee of a CM landyard a few weeks ago. OK, the marquee wasn't one that anyone would want, Hana Montana, but it was still a marquee, on a CM landyard.
