Anybody else see the outrageous asking price by some person selling their Beloved Tales? Haha. It's quite amusing because they're valuing the Beauty and the Beast beloved tales like a Tangled Marquee. Gotta love Ebay! It's always good for a laugh hehe

They're probably listing them that high to see what kind of offers they get. Plus the Beauty and the Beast beloved tale is like the Tangled marquee of beloved tales.

Hey Bob...

Whats more important than EBay sellers is... Where the hell have you been??? We miss you guys and have not seen you in ages...

hEY mOE!!!!!

i KNOW I KNOW! we've been pretty M.I.A lately. We've just been really busy with work, and saving up money for our place early next year. We're not out of the trading world, not even close! Just took a little hiatus to get our priorities in order :) We miss you too my friend! Hope you to see you soon! Tell the Queen Goon we say "hey!"

I have deja vu. I swear I posted the same thing about marquee's and I'm pretty sure catburger berated me about how they are worth what people will pay. I haven't seen any wall-e marquee's sell for $350 lately but it hasn't stopped some people from still asking that. I did see an Up Marquee that just sold BIN for $375.

I berated you because Marquee's have sold for THAT much. Wall-E may have not been sold for $350 "lately" but it has on more than 1 occasion. Same for Tangled ($450 just recently and UP for $500 on 2 occasions when Marquees weren't even the craze yet!, although it sucks for you if it wasn't you who bought the UP marquee at a great price)

BT's, even the hard ones like Ariel and Beauty and the Beast while comparable in rarity are nowhere near the price range of a Wall E or Tangled or UP. I guess where i made a mistake is when i see someone list something for that much, i think of other pins that are worth that much and compare them.

So before you decide to cal me out in my own thread, please think about what u say first :) Thanks!

It sucks when the genre that is inflating to stupidly high prices is the genre you are in the process of collecting. Then everyone jumps on your lonely bandwagon and turns into a raging lunatic party. Snooze ya loose I guess.

I'm actually bothered by how high some of these marquee pins are being listed for when there is no evidence of them selling for that high. We all know the big ones in the marquee collection (Up, Enchanted, Wall-E, Tangled). These do command high dollars, and I'm fortunate I now have all four (I only had to pay big bucks for one of them, the others I was lucky to get when they were released).

But really, Dumbo for over $200? Pinocchio for over $200? Pirates for over $100? Little Mermaid for over $100? Mars Needs Moms for over $20? (seriously, does anyone even want the Mars Needs Moms pin?).

At this point I think its just greed that has taken over, thinking every pin should be worth over 1,000 times its original price. I've probably hit the end of my Marquee collection until the prices get back to reality.

Based on this thread, it looks like collectors of the Beloved Tales are about to be in the same boat.
