wow. ok. um.. irish garb, and Scottish bagpipes.

Either Way, hubby will want. He collects bagpipe pins. ((I always forget that when people ask)) please take a look at my traders and let me know if anyone wants to trade for it? also hubbys pinpic id is phoenix. but his traders are a bit out of date.

hmmm I collect st patrick day stitch pins and this one by a looooooooooooong mile is thee worst one I have seen. I will still need it though so anyone who has it PM me lol

Ugh...the DSF art keeps getting worse and worse.... :/
The eyes, the nails... historical facts... WHAT ARE HIS LEGS EVEN DOING?! Don't even get me started on the huge white tee shirt he is wearing. REALLY? Lol
STEP IT UP!

The pin is kinda cute but it seems a bit... Unfinished? Also I don't understand the bagpipes. BUT, im glad it's not a pin I need or like cause I'm poor! Haha

Stitch isn't holding a bagpipe. He is a holding a uilleann pipe, which looks almost identical to the bagpipe. It's Ireland's version of the bagpipe.

Don't like the pin regardless but DSF didn't shove a Scottish instrument into the picture.

Thank you for the post. I don't know the difference between a uilleann pipe and a bag pipe but I know there have been plenty of them in every St. Pat's parade I have been to.
...At least from what I can remember :naughty: !

Actually, that could be debated. Uilleann pipes have a bellows, they are not inflated by mouth. ((hubby is currently learning to play bagpipes)) I am not being bratty, just sharing some random cool info....

Stitch clearly has a reed in his mouth, and there are no bellows. He is however holding a bagpipe with 2 drones, which is different from the more common Bass Drone Bagpipe. He might be playing Irish War pipes, but those are generally 3 drone as well. He might very well just be holding Irish War Pipes, not bagpipes. And that is cool too.

Uilleann: See the Bellows piece instead of the mouthpiece?

But it is just a pin. :) and Since when have pins been historically correct? LOL I might also not be perfecting dead on with my info, we are still learning about all this stuff.

Still need to find a trade for this pin, Tom will want it for his collection.
