Maximus Maquette

Once the modelling department wraps up and near the end of a movie, the studio will sell a limited number of maquettes to employees. The maquettes are used to allow artists to see a 360 view of a character with various lighting on them to assist in drawing. The originals used to be made of clay, but I would imagine that with the invention of 3D computer modelling and 3D printers, maquettes can be created rather easily (though very expensively).

This is Maximus, as you know, from Tangled. There were 4 other maquettes created for Tangled: Pascal, Gothel, Flynn and Rapunzel. (No, those were not the other prizes.)

The side I showed you doesn't have the arrows that are broken when touched. :) But seriously, that is my favorite line.

So other prizes? They were not even close! $50 in lunch coupons. Free Frozen Crew Jacket coupon. Vanellope Doll. Another coupon thing. And something else in a box I forget.
Think of it as this: You're Walter Donovan. You have like 20 prizes to choose from, but which one do you choose... let's just say I went for the gold and turned into a skeleton.

hahaha I don't blame you. That's worth turning into a skeleton!

As a side note, though, you should be glad you don't have Pascal or Flynn...because I would probably be all stalker like, find out where you live, sneak in, and drool all over. Bahahaha
 
That is literally the coolest piece of Tangled flair ever...maximus is my 3rd favorite disney character of all time. Is it bad that I kinda want to paint him?? ha!
