Trade advice for a noob with a set of April BTs?!

Hi everyone! I'm really new to pin trading. I went to the last DSF release and got a couple sets of BTs to trade. I'm really interested in Rapunzel pins (original, i know i know hahah) and I'm wondering if this trade offer is offensive/rude/crazy/horrible or not.

Pin 95770 (DSF - Beloved Tales - The Princess and the Frog) x 2
Pin 95771 (DSF - Beloved Tales - Bolt)
Pin 95772 (DSF - Beloved Tales - WALL-E)
Pin 95773 (DSF - Beloved Tales - Enchanted)
(just to clarify that's TWO PATF pins, one of every other pin)

FOR

Pin 80446 (WDI - Princesses and Princes on Thrill Rides - Rapunzel & Flynn on Big Thunder Mountain Pin)
Pin 80878 (DSF - Tangled - Rapunzel and Flynn in Chair)

Would I be committing a total faux pas by offering this trade? I checked out a thread that goes over the prices of Rapunzel pins in dollars earlier and I think this offer might be ok, if I offered maybe a little extra money in addition to it?

Gahhhh any help would be appreciated. Also, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place!!!

One of the pins you are hoping to get has been selling regularly for quite a bit of money where the new BT's are not selling at all for the current eBay demands anyway. Although you are purposing a 5 to two trade and may think its fair it will depend on what the person with the Tangled pins thinks the BT's are worth.

If you can't find your trade and decide to trade for something else or reasonably sell you PATF pin I would love to have one.

I am not well versed in Tangled pins, so I'll just say good luck!! I would love to trade though if you decide to break up the set.

Thanks for your reply! I was basing my estimation of the chair pin in particular on previous sale threads here on DPF and on the thread i linked to, but you're right, and it doesn't ever seem to pop up on the bay either

I think it's a fair offer. I've seen the chair recently sell for 400 and the Thrill Ride sell for $100. Princess and the Frog sells for $100 each, Enchanted goes for $150, Walle another $150, and Bolt $80. So Id say its a very reasonable offer, especially given the popularity of the BT series.

It might be even if you buy them separately, but as a set of for the don't sell for more then $350. I really hope you can find someone to trade with you though, but it might be hard just because it is Tanlged.

I agree...the set, as a whole, sells for around $350; so to price them individually might not be too helpful as eBay has an abundance of them right now. Even though some sets have sold for around $350 I've seen others end at that with no bids. The WDI has gone up a bit, but isn't quite selling at $125-150 yet. Although, I suspect it will continue to go up along with the Chair pin while at least 2 of the 4 BT's prices will inevitably lower some or level off.

I think the trade will really depend on the person because while I can see people really wanting the set, the Tangled Chair is easily one of the Top 5 Tangled pins in existence so people are only going to want to give that up for pins that are expensive and hard to find if I had to guess (I don't collect Tangled). While the April BTs are expensive to get at this current time, they definitely aren't hard to find considering they are all over Ebay and many threads since they just came out You could always wait a while but then you run the risk of them falling in value.

At the same time, I think you might have a hard time finding a person who wants to PatF BTs, I can see someone who is looking for 1 set alone, but IDK if someone would be interested in trading 2 really great Tangled pins for 1 amazing set plus a duplicate ^_^ However, I won't say the trade is unfair since it is completely up to them
