Yesterday I got off work at 6am and woke up at 9am and picked up Hidden_Miki and her boyfriend (oh heck my step nephew, why not I think him as family) and her baby and went for a day at the park. I was really sleepy, thought I was going to nap in the van while they played in the park, but I got there, and was fine. Fist stop Corn Dog!! the Little Green men, since Jordan couldn't go I was going to get him the Stitch ticket pin for the Jungle Cruise but found it sold out, bummer. But that was ok i'll find him something else. But the crowds were low, rides took no time to get on! I finally got to see one of the "limited"/"special" Indiana Jones room other than the one in the middle (always get the middle,even asked if the other rooms even exisited last trip) and Lanyards everywhere and even better! I was pulling authentic Hidden Mickeys left and right! I was so excited and so happy even one of the cast members asked "are you letting your inner 5 year old out today" with a bg smile, and I said oh yes! yes I am! It was an epic day! New Fantasyland I found the 2 hidden mickey's and Pascal hiding under a rock! and tried some of that delish Boysen apple cider in a Gaston Stein nom nom then the day came to an end and we stared to leave and we talked about what a great day it was, I started to fight off tears because I wish Jordan could have been with me to enjoy it, my eyes welled up and I fought off the tears big time. But later we ran into two of my favorite DPF'rs and gave them great big hugs and talked forever and I was happy again.

I brought home Jordan a couple pins and the Dumbo popcorn pail full of his favorte disney popcorn, when he woke in the moning he was so happy with his pail and chompped up the popcorn! and loved his pins.

Oh, bummer I missed you. I was at the park yesterday also but I didn't get there until about 4pm and stayed until they closed... next time Janice!!

Tho' I did bump into Connie!!

Thank you so much for pizza and soda at dsf! Ur such a sweetheart..... i traded with u at marissas first party...pretty sure i got ur mostro...loves it!

Awe man, I stopped by little green man a couple times but I didn't reconize anyone, I had my button on from Docfish just in case, I would have loved seeing you again, your a terrific person!
 
Not at all a silly post! I love hearing about adults enjoying the magical things in life. Growing old is mandatory...growing up is purely optional! :)
 
Wow, authentic Hidden Mickeys at the parks? Are you sure? I didn't hear about Hell freezing over. :drool: Congrats on the awesome day and I'd love to see pics of your pins.

All three of us were shocked at how many we found. Mabey dumbo found his feather and flew, lol, wait thats pigs not elephants, but I bet you knew what I was getting at lol.
 
It is wonderful that you had such a great time at DLR. I wish I could get there before our passes expire in May but it isn't looking good. We made a good dent in our HM from DLR but we still need a lit of them. I would settle for the duffy hats from both parks and the card ones from DLR. I would give up the rest to get those!
