Ariel Pin worth?

Ok. I found it on Ebay seller's feedback.

Only time I saw this Ariel pin on Ebay was in May of 2011 and it sold for $482.

The same seller also sold Cinderella for $117 around the same time.

I also saw AP version of Sleeping Beauty go for $179 in May of 2012. I bought my own SB for $165 about a year ago.

Really? I honestly doubt that pin can touch the R/C in value O_O I mean, even with it being so many Ariel collector's grails, I don't even believe it's the most wanted Ariel pin in existence (I've seen more wants for the Ariel Seasons pin and that doesn't scrape $1000). Definitely a great pin that can pretty much get any other pin in existence, just not the Tangled R/C or Up Marquee I don't think >_<

lol I think they're just gonna keep posting photos of it instead of telling people because if they got it for a really good deal and they say that, people will go nuts over him/her and I don't think they want to start that kind of rage :lol:

Well the person who got it for $400 a few years ago is probably really happy. Even if Bieber didn't buy it on Ebay (think about it, why would they be asking how much the pin is worth if they bought it for $1,300...clearly setting how much it is worth. Unless they only posted the question to get people to look in order to brag which is kind of mean and I don't think they're mean ^_^).

However, on the plus side, if the pin goes for $1,300 now, for any LM collector fearing it rivaled a R/C Rapunzel, you have to fear no longer, it only goes for $1,300 :facepalm: instead of $2,000 <.< If that's consolation in anyway.

What a beautiful pin!!! It looks great as a picture, but we happened to see it ONCE at the DSF line (someone got it as a gift!) and it is even MORE (yes, it's possible) stunning in person.

haha yeah I looked at the T/W ratios after that post and was like "well I stand corrected" but the Internet is too slow to edit the post. Not to mention if this pin sold for $1,300 and Seasons goes for $400-$500 I think. Oddly enough, the reason I said that originally was because I've seen that Nouveau pin on a lot of signatures but I've barely ever seen it as a grail of all grails on a signature so while I knew there was interest in the pin, I never thought it was so high since people didn't seem to rank it #1 but perhaps that's because it is like the Rapunzel R/C, so hard why even try haha xD

Seasons goes for $250. I think highest I have seen was $256 auction style.

I have 2 of these DA Art Nouveau pins and they would not even compare to R/C pins in beauty, design and quality. Even then, $1300 for this pin is too high imo. Maybe $750-$800 or so would be reasonable.

IMO R/C pins are highly hyped. I would think long and hard before comparing park pins to DA pins, but Rapunzel is Rapunzel - for reasons I still do not get. Even then, I am trying to complete the R/C set .. LOL ..
