It's too late for me to ask off from work for TLM release, but absolutely nothing is stopping me from getting that marquee. I also really want the Mulan and Cri-Kee one.

My gripe with the release is that I think they really didn't choose the "Best Friends" they could have. I think if there wasn't an LM release before this, Ariel and Flounder would have been a shoe-in so I'm sad they didn't save this release for another month and then release her and Flounder (I would have died for this pin since I have a running joke with my BF about LM). Also, I don't really see Mulan and Crikee as being BFF, and if they are, I cannot say their friendship is as strong as say:
1) Ralph and Vanellope (they were through problems their whole lives to find each other)
2) Tiana and Charlotte (best friends since childhood)
3) Lilo and Stitch (not gonna even try to explain this one)
so I think they definitely could have picked better BFs, but I love the concept, I truly hope they keep this BF set going in later months

Even though Mulan and Cri-Kee aren't really best friends, I am still really excited for a pin with Cri-Kee on it because I collect him and I'm just happy whenever Mulan gets some love.

The release also happens to coincide with the WDW Villains event so anyone flying down there cannot attend the even themselves...this will at least decrease the number of people that attend, even if by a fraction ^_^ The only LM pins I'm interested in are the Ariel and Ursula pins and both pins I want to see first before I go after them. I'm quite curious why there are only 2 release this month and whether or not there will be a surprise pin released at one of them 
I hope it's the LM one because if it's the BF release, I don't want it to be a BF set I want (Ralph/Vanellope, Ariel/Flounder, Tiana/Charlotte).

I don't have time for them to be doing last minute changes. Last minute changes kept me from being able to go to the perfume release.
I figured they'd keep it on the 13th since that's when TLM 3D is being released at the El Cap.

I think they will leave it. They know this release will be crazy enough as it is, so if they can keep away some people it will be more manageable and give newer traders a chance since all the vets will be in Florida. Now if we can get A. those newer traders to trade them and not sell them (if they don't want to keep them) and B. keep the vets from buying them instead of trading for them. Then we can see a growth in actual pin trading. Yay!
I have that Friday off work, so I'm stoked it's a Friday and the Villains event people will be gone. Now for a Vanessa surprise pin. Muahahah. More likely a Eric or Triton.

They've been doing Vanellope lately. PTD's and the ID badge. They just did the Lilo & Stitch tiki set. I don't care how much you ask, I don't see a Charlotte pin ever at DSF. So all of those are no. But, there are plenty of best friends pins they could have done. See the recent best friends mystery pins at the parks for inspiration. But there are many others. A Wall-E and Eva would have been cute. Mike & Sulley would have been nice but they just did Monster's U and Mike PTD. Carl & Russell but they've done Up lately. I could see maybe like a Buzz & Woody. Luke & Leia (haha, yeah right.) Jiminy and Pinocchio. Jack & Zero. Etc.
But I say DSF is doing a good job of mixing it up. Keep the random characters coming! There are pins out there that I want but the traders that are trading them may collect more obscure stuff so I need obscure stuff for them.
