All that I can see is my paypal is charged for the amount...I tried checking on disney but the site is down, I know 3 other people who also have been charged for her. Looks like though they have just put the charge through because it is pending so you should have time to get the money there

My account won't let the money transfer go through until tomorrow, so I really hope they put like a temporary hold tonight and will actually post the charge after midnight. Right now it shows as a pending charge. I feel stupid, but for some reason I thought the charge went through on October 1st. If the Disney Store website comes up for you guy can you please let me know. I really need to see if my order still says active. Man, I hope m panic is for nothing and next time I I'll use a credit card! Thank you very much for letting us know what was happening so I at least have a chance to save my order!

You're welcome...a friend tipped me off on all of this. I'm really thinking as long as you make it to the bank tomorrow you should be good (I work for a bank) normally the pending will be on for all of tonight and tomorrow since it was out on after banking hours...so hopefully with this no one will miss out on their dolls :-) I wasn't expecting to be charged until the 1st also when I thought they were going to ship her.

I will be sure to get down there and make sure all is well. What's sad is that I have the money for all of my fall dolls in another account to keep it separate from our family budget. I am going to put every penny for every doll that I hope to get this fall into the correct account tomorrow. On a hopeful note, I would love to have my doll arrive earlier than I expected!

It does make sense for them to ship out LM early to lighten the load they'll have shipping out all of the other LM and The Belle Designer Doll next week. Plus, if pre-orders don't go through this week, they can add the leftover Ariel Dolls to the feeding frenzy next week. I just hope my doll is not one of them!!!
 
I just checked my e-mail history again and my pre-order Cinderella last year shipped out on September 27th & Lady Tremaine shipped out October 4th. I should have expected the early shipment!
 
I was very late to this game and have only purchased Merrida and Eleanor and Calhoun from Disney, I had to play catch up with the rest I have....so I haven't dealt much with their preorders for the dolls....I am super excited that she should be here earlier than I thought though :-) Now to snag Eric and Ursula and wait for my set of designer dolls and I will be set!! Well until Frozen comes out lol
 
You know your a Disney fanatic when you go the DS website and read the notice that the website is down in Fix it Felix's accent. I am such a Disney nerd, but I love it. :) Good night everyone!
 
my account was charged too, living here so close to all this disney merch is taking it's toll on my bank balances... don't have much left and the pay isn't the best!!
still when Ariel is delivered it'll be worth it
 
I just got charged.. but it's kinda weird..

So I'm sure that when I look at my order details it says $107 but I only got charged for $102.

They also charged my card for the blu-ray.

Also, I think it's safe to assume that there won't be a surprise doll. If there was, someone would have found out about it by now..

Hello, I preordered Ariel and I have not had collected. Is this normal? Do you know that it dates pre order will be sent? thank you
 
Hey guys so I was freaking out because I did not realise that they would be charging us this early and did not have enough in my card for the purchase (I was actually going to put the funds through tomorrow). I even got a text from the credit card company telling me that there was a charge attempted on the card but could not be out through and when I contacted them they said it was from the Disney store.

So I contacted the Disney store to let them know that I made the payment into the card as I was really worried they were going to cancel my order but I was told that they will contact the buyer first to let them now that the charge did not go through. By the way it is not a charge, it is a hold on the card that Disney processes early so that if situations like this do happen they can contact the buyer before they have to take the charge and let them know of the situation so that they can rectify it.

Apparently the way it works is that they take the hold on the card and then process the order for shipping at the warehouse in Memphis. Once the orders are ready to ship they then take the hold and turn it into a charge. If there is still no hold on the card at that point in time I believe that is when they cancel the order (note by this point they would have tried to contact the buyer already and would have been unsuccessful).

I am am not sure when the orders will be dispatched but I would assume that we should be getting the 'your order is on its way' shortly hopefully it will be before the end of the week as that will mean we should be expecting the doll to arrive by early next week.
 
That's actually pretty nice that they are giving people a chance to get the money where it needs to be :-) I'm super excited that we will probably get to see her a week before I figured we would!!
 
Yeah I just went through my old emails and I got a shipping notice for Cinderella on the 30th last year, and she arrived on October 2nd!:wat: I had thought she shipped out after the 1st. Funny how time distorts my memory :lol: . Maybe because it felt like forever waiting to get her! :roll:
 
LE Ariel Shipping update: My pending charge showed up last night and I was told the doll will ship out either Wednesday or Thursday. Payment will post the same day that it ships out. I am super excited. Doll usually take about a week to arrive to my house, so in the middle of the buying frenzy she will arrive. Yeah!
 
Just out of curiosity, for those that do have the LE Snow White doll, has anyone ever taken her out of her box? As she is the only doll within that particular series that is sealed.

If you have taken her our of her box does she come with a COA and is the COA numbered? As I know that some of the earlier dolls like the Jack and Sally LE dolls do come with COAs but they are not numbered.

I was just told by another member of the forum that some of the listing of Snow on ebay do not have COAs, one seller even stating that they bought the doll in store and never opened it (so it is still sealed) and yet it doesnt come with a COA? Was wondering if the seller was getting confused with maybe the lithograph that came with the bluray release? But yeah just wanted to see if someone could shed some light on this because my Snow is still sealed and now I am worried that she may not have a COA but I dont want to open it because it is sealed. Thing is it was originally purchased from the Disney Store and was not a display doll so should come with a COA (that and the box does state that it does come with the stand and COA).

my snow white doll has coa not sure if her back is # I bought her 2nd hand from eBay seal was broken.
 
Wait, so does the fact they have charged us for the doll already mean that she will come IN on the 1st?!?! YAY!!!! :wiggle: Also, does anyone know if that means they will ship the DVD out as well? My account was charged for both (they were all in one transaction) I'm just trying to determine if I should be on the lookout for one box or two that day!

Is your COA numbered? Like does it say what number you have out of 5,000? Or does it just say you have 1 of 5000.


I wish I could check the Humber on my doll but I would be too nervous to open the box and break the seals haha.

Well based on another members post they will be getting shipped tomorrow or Thursday so if that is the case it should get to you by Monday or Tuesday at the latest as they use UPS so as long as if you get the tracking details before the weekend you can probably guarantee to have the doll by its release date of Oct 1. This also includes the bluray as well as they were both on preorder and they both have the same release date. So the comment I made earlier about the dolls being dispatched on the 1st of Oct was incorrect.

Dunno if they will come in separate boxes though. I would have thought that they would have just put them all together in the one box but who knows the dolls already have their own box so they may do 2 separate boxes if you also ordered the Bluray.
 
When I had Cinderella shipped to a US address last year, I got the shipping notice on September 26th and she arrived on October 4th.
