I'm in good Ole Oklahoma and mine says Friday by end of day :) ( I have them shipped to my work so no one has a chance to nab them at my house)
 
I read somewhere that when its pre-orders DS uses the Post Office. If that is the case, they should not leave the package in front of the door. If no one is home they should leave a notice specifying a re-delivery attempt or pick-up at your nearest post office. I found it odd that it was the post office delivering as DS always uses UPS, but now I know.

For me, the Disney Store operates of off weight. Light things like a DVDs come USPS and heavier items like LE dolls come UPS. I don't know if it has anything to do with pre-order, but I suspect that they use whoever is cheaper.
 
My Ariel is already in Oklahoma! The anticipation is killing me!! Now I'm just hoping I get a chance to get both Ursula and Eric, I won't feel whole without them!
 
My Ariel is right up the street!!! Unfortunately UPS is already running the routes for the day and I have to wait until tomorrow. SO EXCITED!!!
 
A questioned for the experienced doll buyers: Is it normal for us to be getting these days before the release is actually set? (Not that I'm complaining) Just curious
 
For those who are excitedly waiting for your dolls to arrive, is she being shipped through UPS? I have 2 separate tracking numbers, one for the doll and the other for the blueray. The one for the doll is the one that says that departed this morning at 12:02 am form TN, the other is saying is unavailable, but they are both from the Postal service.

With all this talk of e-mails with UPS tracking numbers and Friday arrivals, I am a bit worried. I have not received any e-mail from customer services with any UPS tracking number. I checked my order on DS. It claimed Ariel and Bluray and lithos all shipped 9/25, but there is only one USPS tracking number for all three items. Is anyone else on East Coast (particularly VA) receiving her by post instead of by UPS? I will be lucky if I receive her by next week (and not broken) if she was sent by USPS.

I've had no problems receiving fairytale couples by UPS--received tracking numbers in timely fashion. Perhaps UPS just failed to scan barcode and she is on way like everyone else's? If she isn't here by 3:30 pm on Friday, I plan to call DS and find out what is going on with Ariel order.

I seem to have trouble with all my pre-orders on LE dolls. Last year, they sent me tracking number that didn't work for Merida/Elinor set. When I called to find out what was going on, the CM said she was either never sent or was lost. They sent me new one, but that set was not sold out.

Sorry to those of you who are uncertain about Ariel's arrival, as I am, but happy for those of you who are getting her tomorrow. :-)
 
@LittleMermaidAriel, that is what worries me a bit. You have two different tracking numbers. I, too, bought doll and Bluray, yet I only have one USPS tracking number that I had to search for on DS order history--no e-mail for me. Makes me worry about Ariel. That one tracking number of mine may be just the Bluray and lithos. I can only hope UPS just failed to scan something, and that she is still coming.
 
So close but ao far away. Ariel's in my state and I almost wanted to pick her up at ups, but I can wait one more day lol. She's being sent via ups because they wouldn't send to a p.o. box. Oddly enough, I can get the designer dolls sent to my p.o. box via ups and getting transferred to usps.

I am so confused right now. I don't mind which way I receive my orders, but I just wish I could appropriately see my tracking information. @ Tinkerboy: Did you pre-order the movie too? Maybe it is different for those who pre-ordered both. I have both the movie and the doll pre-ordered, may be it was cheaper to send them at once through usps, but then again they are packaged separately hence the 2 different tracking numbers so I dont understand. Im going to call, have not had a chance yet.

LOL! My husband is driving right by the sorting facility where my Ariel is in a few minutes. I even called to see if he could personally pick her up, but of course that isn't allowed. ONE MORE DAY!

I'm sooo jealous of you all getting her this week :-) Mine won't be here until Tuesday being on the West Coast...can't wait to see all your pics :-)

Is your order status still on Active? Because mine still is and it does not say shipped nor does it have a tracking number. The thing is I ordered the bluray with it as well which is making me wonder if that is the reason why it has not been shipped yet. Has anyone that ordered both the doll and the bluray received tracking numbers or have your order completed and closed? I notice a few such as LittleMermaidAriel's case wherein they have shipped both items but only provided one tracking number, maybe the tracking number relates to the doll as they don't provide tracking for the bluray which would be the one they sent with USPS? Not sure but that might be a possibility as to why the other number is not working as it is not track able but is just more of a reference? You could always try giving usps a call and quote them the reference and see what they say.

Upon review of your concern, I see the order is currently within processing. As the release date nears for the Limited Edition Ariel, orders will be begin to ship no later than October 1, 2013. At this time a shipping date is not available. Please be advised a confirmation email with a tracking number will be provided upon the shipping of the order.

I did not order the bluray. Maybe that is the hold up?
 
Anyone else wonder if UPS receives a heads up from Disney that the items are long awaited ones and that if they don't deliver it as fast as possible that they will be getting very anxious phone calls from doll collectors asking about the status of their packages? LOL

Its sad but seeing how close the doll is makes me want time to just hurry up so that I get it already lol. It's almost the weekend which I usually look forward to but really I want the weekend to come and go so that I can get my dolls and order the ones coming out ok Oct. Unfortunately I don't get my Ariel until around Tuesday next week. Gosh it will all be happening on d day Oct 1. Cannot wait!

Yes my order that is supposed to be coming directly to me still hasn't shipped either. I may get the one coming via the US first at this rate.

I also bought the 3D, bluray and digital copy version of the movie several weeks ago when it came out. But I just couldn't pass on the lithos even though I know the blu ray will not work here :P.
