Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
Anyone else's tracking details change to in transit for just Eric and not Ursula, my Ursula just says still waiting for pick up by UPS.

Unfortunately I can't tell with mine. My dolls are being sent to my p.o. box so I'll be using UPS and USPS. Only got tracking for the USPS but I know I should have them by next week.

She will love the doll but she will hate me.

I've had this argument with her several times. Her room is getting filled up with dolls and she doesn't want me getting her anymore. But last year, I gave her a warning about "The Year of The Little Mermaid". Part of the problem is because my other sister is stashing her dolls in the same room. Like a few months ago, I sent her designer Cruella and she got mad for 5 minutes and then became happy :)
So for now, I'm keeping the Ariel doll until my other sister decided to take away her LE Merida and this LE Ariel can replace her. But I don't know what I'm going to do next year when Sleeping Beauty comes out. Aurora is one of my sister's favorite and the other's ONLY favorite princess (she hates the concept, always was into power rangers). My oldest sister (who I'm getting this Ariel for) Loves Aurora, Phillip, and Maleficent.
Another part of the problem is that we are a Muslim family, (which explains why mom hates Ariel so much) So anything I get her for the Little Mermaid has to adhere by the rules :P Like the Ariel and Eric sweater from Hot Topic that I got my sister.. She loves it so much but she can't wear it at all! BTW, if you guys haven't seen them already, hot topic has gone hard core with classic disney characters. They have sweaters and shirts.
I don't know what I'm going to do. Sometimes, I hate my generosity. But other times, I'm like ":wat: They're gonna love this so much". I actually quite often find myself sacrificing a lot of money for their happiness. And they hate that...

Yeah I can understand how your mother doesn't like Ariel. We're Muslim too and it took me an hour to get my parents to let me buy the doll. My little cousin loves Ariel a lot, but her mother won't buy her any Ariel dolls. :/

Yes!! I can not wait to see what Ana and Elsa look like!! I have a feeling Elsa will be my favorite out of the 2

Hello everyone!! I've been following this forum for a while, but I haven't been able to post. Now that that's figured out, I'm glad to be able to hopefully be part of the community. I've been collecting these dolls for a while (since Tiana, so Snow White is the only one I'm missing (other than a few I chose to skip)) and love this collection. I actually began because my sister's name is Tiana as well and I thought it would have been a nice gift for her to a have a collectible doll that shared her name, but after seeing the detail in these dolls, I was hooked!

Anyways first off let me start by saying thank you to all those who come here and put whatever information they know about these dolls! I really appreciate it! I actually really rely on this forum to get the up-to-date news on release info.

Second I have a few questions to ask: I'm not a deboxer but I do pull the cover off every once in a while to check the dolls, and I've noticed with my Cinderella doll, the dress is stuffed with tissue paper. I've check other dolls and the only other one that had that was the Married Rapunzel. Does anyone know if this is how Disney is going to start releasing the dolls? Obviously there's nothing I can do about that, but I wish they would stick to using tulle or some other kind of material other than stuffing them with paper.

My other question is for anyone else that lives in Canada or somewhere not in the US. This question may have been asked so sorry if it has! I received my two different email about my Eric and Ursula dolls being shipped and they both have different tracking numbers. When I get dolls here, I actually have to pay a border fee (extra to the taxes), and I was wondering if anyone knew if I would have to pay for two different packages rather than paying one border fee for a larger package?

As for the upcoming Anna and Elsa dolls, I remember someone telling me that Anna would be released sometime in November and Elsa being released in March/April when the bluray comes out. I could be wrong, but that's what someone told me and I've always kind of assumed that. Either way I'm really excited for the Elsa one (and a Mulan one if they ever decide to release her...Geez!)!!

Anyways thanks again!

Welcome, Babaloo (are you a fellow Lucy fan with that name?)

I'm in Canada too and can tell you that the customs fees are based on value not number of packages, so it shouldn't really make a difference unless ups charges a brokerage fee. I'm not sure if they do or if it's fedex. However I can't see why these would be shipped separately. I'd double check my disney store account and see (if you're just referring to emails you received). Other than that I wonder how close you are to the border. I now have my disney account set up to ship to a ups depot in buffalo and then I drive the couple hours and make a shopping day out of it. Shipping is then free and I usually don't have to pay customs. Just a suggestion.

My mom ordered an Ariel for herself......if arrived damaged - she was so upset. She called and they are sending her a replacement! BUT I HATE UPS!!!! They are the WORST EVER!!! My China Girl doll arrived - smashed box and all. Unfortunately her feet were broken off. Had to get a refund and send her back. I was so sad.. THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME WITH UPS!! Ugh!

I would love the idea for Disney to put out a Rococo princess line. Whether it would be 17" or 12". Saw these on tumblr a long time ago but always love the style & idea for it. I mean there's just 6 for example but it would be nice to have the rest of the princesses.

oooh fancyyyyy. I dig. it is a lot of bouffant but princesses in almost any period costume are a win for me.

I'm glad everyone has been receiving their confirmation emails! On to Anna and Elsa then, eh? :P

oh my! i'm trying not to think about it right now..my 13 year old sister saw the trailer..wants to start her own doll collection and I think she's hinting that Anna and Elsa will be her firsts..haha!

Haha, I can't wait for Frozen dolls!! Eeeeeeeee!!!!!

My Ursula and Eric dolls are set to arrive on the 10th (hopefully I can pick them up on the 11th!) I cannot wait to see them.

Ok ,so I went down to pick up my Ariel the other day and about three-fourths of the way through my drive down to San Diego (Usually an hour, but made 2 because of traffic) I realized that I completely forgot my voucher at home! I didn't want to have to go all the way back home empty handed especially since I was nearly there, so I kept going hoping they could do something. Lucky for me when I got there the same girl was working that sold me the doll and remembered me buying her. She was soooo amazing, she spent like 15 minutes going through the computer system to look up my transaction (Which was harder since I paid in cash) and printed out the receipt again!!! I was soooooo happy with her!!! It made me glad that I actually had gotten the doll there instead of my local store (It was closed) because the CMs at my store are not nearly as awesome as that!

I am still waiting too , no dispatch email yet . I was hoping for a delivery today ... Hopefully , it will be here monday !

In reading everyone's posts about how horrible UPS is, etc.... I don't think it's the company, I think it's where you live AND who delivers in your area. I've been collecting from DS since wedding Rapunzel and have never had problems. Live in an apartment....I'm just not sure hating ALL of the company is the right thing to do; not everybody everywhere has these issues.

I agree! Although, I am nervous for LM dolls and my DFDC set coming in this month..My brother works for Fedex and he always tells me stories about the guys sorting the packages don't care whats inside of the value (personal or money wise). Most of them are miserable people who just need a paycheck. He gets upset about horrible packages (he's a HUGE comic book guy) so he knows the feeling.

But yes, I think everyone shouldn't automatically blame the company..maybe everyone should look into the shipping company or their carrier cause it's not fair that OUR stuff is in their hands for a good amount of time and they don't give 2 monkey's butt of a care about it.

l will agree with you. I've had all my dolls delivered by ups, all the way to Australia, and not one of my dolls have been damaged during transit. Admittedly, two of my ear hat ornaments were slightly broken, so Disney replaced them and they were just fine (and I'd bought 13 ornaments so I think that's pretty good odds).
But in saying that, I do get that receiving damaged goods is upsetting, so I understand your anger - but I really think it's not ups in general, probably just select warehouses/drivers.
