2013 Fairytale Designer Collection
Ugh, maybe I need sleep but I swear Snow White and Belle have almost, if not exact, dresses. Belle's dress just happens to have ruffles and rose patterns in between.

So for those that preordered the set do you think they will ship them out early like they did the LE Ariel or do you think we will have to wait until the day Ariel and Eric are released for them to ship them to us?

I'd say those are the same--though Snow doesn't have the peplum-ish addition. While a unique outfit would've been nice, this doesn't bother me a whit.

But it's kinda cool that you did a side-by-side comparison.

Oh, and I got my BatB! And tracking number for Ursula/Eric! Did I already post that here? I'm so Dory!

So, my curiosity sprung up and after all this ebay talk, I wanted to see what Belle was going for so incase I wanted to buy another one in the future for my mom..and well, pardon my french but gosh damn! +$300.00-$500.00 for them?! wow!! I saw some of them didn't have a lot of feedback to take seriously but there were others that could pass off to be real sales.. and if those are I really do feel bad for those who spent that much :(

After reading everyone's opinion on here about ebay, there are a lot of good points made...haha! Here's to hoping they go down eventually!!! LOL! :wavey:

I noticed that about Snow White and Belle's dresses. It looks like they used the same template but then altered the details so Snow White has wildflowers and a tiny apple in the center and Belle has roses. I love their dresses.

I agree that it looks as if the Disney Store was trying to get as much mileage out of that general embroidery design, though as mentioned there are some detail element differences within the actual designs. I actually wish that they had used completely different embroidery designs for DFDC Snow White and DFDC Belle's skirts, because it takes away a bit from the uniqueness of the overall look, especially since they both have yellow skirts.

Wondering if I should rope in a friend to drive me to the Disney Store for the Ariel and Eric release... just so I have 2 chances at them. I would be pretty crushed if they sell out online quickly :(
Does anyone have any experience with raffle/early releases with the Disney Store in the Florida Mall?

That's true, they also are the only two with similar embroidery. I happen to really like the "cameo" pattern, so I like it. But since no one else has the same embroidery it's not quite the theme of the set and so maybe they could have made Belle's a unique pattern. No cameos, more roses, a different overall shape. I think roses climbing up all around would have been pretty.

It would better your chances. Who knows how the turnout will be. Might want to grab 2 more friends if you can lol! I don't know about the Florida mall, but it may be the same as most places Come in at noon submit your name before 1pm and then at 1, they'll start calling out names and lining you up to get a doll. At one of my stores, they start the raffle at 1:10.

At my store they are predicting between 100 to 150 people will be there based off how many people have been acquiring about the set......all I have to say is :anxious::anxious::anxious::anxious::anxious:

Good luck everyone, if I was getting a couple's set, it would be this one. But I don't want Eric, I just want Ariel. She is gorgeous! I hope everyone gets one, that wants one!

Take as many people as you can!!! Judging by Belle's release, there were LOTS of people interested and Ariel is just all the more popular.

I might call the store next week and also beg my friends to come and drive me! At least the raffles are in the afternoon and I don't have to be there at store opening. Thanks for the info :)

It's hard to say... The Designer Villains pre-order doll set did not ship until the final doll's release date (Designer Cruella de Vil), but in 2011 they did ship out the Designer Princess doll set pre-orders from D23 about a week prior to Dollmageddon. 2011 may have been an anomaly, though, because they had to rework the entire release schedule because of all of the problems that were coming up with their planned release system. Fingers crossed that they will ship this year's doll sets out a little earlier!

That is the store I've been going to all along and I've gotten them all so far. The thing I notice is it seems a lot of people sign up, but not everyone shows up for the raffle time. There is also multiple sign ups per family, but people have only been getting one set per family, from what I've seen. I've never sat and watched the whole thing because the latest I was ever called was 7th, and that was for Snow White. I'm not sure how Ariel will go, but I am praying that I will have the same luck I've had. I don't usually have anyone to go along with me but if I could it would be for this one!

I was thinking the villains shipped on Cruella's release date but couldn't remember since I had to get them all one by one last year...really hoping they come a little early the wait is killing me seeing all the pics lol

Yeah I was afraid with all of the TLM madness these would get pushed till next week.

That's one of the hard things about ordering online. Waiting and thinking about shipping is a bit annoying. My Jasmine arrived right before Belle was released. I was very excited to get her, but my attention quickly shifted to the 17" dolls and Belle. I am really hoping that the online success that many of us have had so far will continue. Thanks to those who find links and help us all out. I feel a little less nervous knowing that people on here help each other. Thanks again Link Fairies!

My sister pre-ordered the set and she was told that they would be shipped on Oct.15 or after, but you never know if they decide to ship them a bit early. I really hope they do. The downside of pre-ordering th entire set is the agony of waiting.

It usually takes at least five business days for me to get a DS.com order after they shipped, and Belle/Beast haven't shipped yet. It feels like it is gonna take forever.

I'm not even 100% sure I will keep them, I hate having to buy an item immediately just to see if I will like it and want to keep it. Disney really could have made an extra 2000 or so of these sets and they would have sold well. Good vibes for Ariel everyone, I know I want that gal!
