Melonballer's Pin Picture a day thread
And we are now on the last day of set week. Tomorrow start a new theme that should last a few weeks. For tonight we have the Stitch Vacation series from ds.com. I posted one of these earlier on, but here is the full set.

So here we are. It is time for a new theme. For the next few weeks I will be sharing my latest accomplishment. Back in 2008 I bought a few pins from a set off of Disneyshopping.com. Then later I bought more as they went on sale and on clearance. Then I picked up others from people selling them on various websites. I decided to go for the entire 27 pin set. I traded for a few more and found some on ebay. Then I went a long while without getting any. FInally last year I managed to get the last few with the last one arriving last month. I now present the 2008 Disneyshopping.com Villains pin set. The first pin will be the Evil Queen and we will move through the collection chronologically.

Moving along we get to the film Pinocchio. They made 2 pins based on the villains from this film. The first one is Stromboli.

And here is Br'er Fox. Br'er Fox was the last pin I needed to complete the set. I just got him last month.

And now for the Queen of Hearts. I believe I got this pin from Halloweenfiend, though it may have been JKrolak.

Now we get to one of the greatest of Disney villains, and the worst pin in the set. What should have been a home run is one of those pins with a weird face. Here is Maleficent.

Funny thing is I took this picture the same time I did the Hook one. It was a bad picture day.

And now for Mad Madam Mim. One of the great things about this collection is how they did not just do the big names, but also made pins of less famous villains.

And now for the Jungle Book. One of the very first pins I bought on the initial release was Shere Khan. I actually have an extra for trade if anyone is looking for it.

I got one of the pins from the set you're going through right now in the mail today. If the one I got is an indication of the whole set, they're beautiful in person.

Thanks. Nice to see people are still watching the thread.

We are now in the 1980s for films. When the sneak previews of this pin collection were found (I might have been the one to find them, or maybe it was one of the other board members on dizpins all those years ago) I was most excited about this pin. In fact it was one of the first ones I bought. Here is the Horned King from the Black Cauldron.

:) I think they're beautiful on my screen. Very cool set so far!

They're pretty average sized pins too, at least the one I got is, so they have some pretty good detail.

Thanks. Nice to see people are still watching the thread.

I've been keeping track for a while. You like to post like 3/4AM my time :p
