PTDs ARE BACK! GSF/DSS Pin Trader Sundae thread. Blue Fairy/DoDo/Anastasia/Archimedes

Sneezy lost a scoop on his ice cream cone but there's still whipped cream & a cherry on top. Wow, that must have been an interesting sneeze.
 
Rules up for the next release (see 2nd post of thread)... 2 per person again, but fricken 5am line up time... Grr, that's gonna be tough. :)
 
Sneezy running low as of 4pm. Supriviser said I was lucky to get one. Said they started the day with a low amount, but it had been slow thus far.
 
Can someone explain to me how the PTD system works? Having trouble finding specifics... it sounds like they will keep selling the sundae with which ever LE PTD pin is currently available, but if they run out of that PTD pin they will stop selling that sundae if there is no back-up PTD pin to start giving out? It has been confusing me if they have an unlimited supply of new PTD pins and they just keep changing it, or if they do in fact run out sometimes and stop selling the sundae altogether.

They order a large batch of PTDs at a time, so they tend to have back ups. The pin trading community has gone rather mad of PTDs before and they have run out. In the past, they substituted other pins for the PTDs when they ran out, but they didn't do this when they ran out this last time.

I assume they stop offering the sundae if they don't have pins to go with it. But really, no one is going to want the sundae if there is no pin with it.

Does that mean one pin per person, or one of each pin in the set per person?

I am wondering how so many of those eBayers are "sure" they will get full sets to sell, the way things seem to be going.
