DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion
I can't believe people are STILL having problems. Then again, there was a LOT of dolls ordered at once, so I guess it shouldn't be surprising that there is some delays in shipping. Still this whole thing has been a huge disaster on Disney's part, and I seriously hope this finally straightens their attitude on stuff like this. I hope everyone gets their dolls though, as all that matters is that you get your dolls regardless of how long the shipping process is.

I have just got my shopping confirmation of my blue aurora from us disney but still not had my pink aurora tracking nor the replacement they have ordered either! Sort it out disney.

My cousin and I were just talking about all these crazy issues going on with the dolls and I think what we have to keep in mind is, over 14,000 dolls were bought in the span of a couple hours. All of these dolls at once on top of this big Frozen fiasco is insanity. I'm not saying the shipping issues are okay, because trust me I have had numerous damaged items shipped to me. But with all the orders being placed and items being shipped and countless people contacting them about there orders, issues are bound to happen. After all we did just order these dolls only 2 days ago. If we give it some time things will be straightened out and we all will get our dolls. Patience is a virtue and it will all pay off when we finally have all our beautiful dolls in our grasp!

I was thinking a lot if the problems were dealing with the pink Aurora and the set of fairy tales, both of which were pre orders so really shouldn't have had any shipping issues.

I don't know what I'm going to do when I get more Le dolls. I had to rearrange my stuff in my room just to make room for aurora. And that's only one doll, lol :lol:I don't know how I'll fit 4 more dolls in one room.

I feel the same way lol. I had to put Maleficent in the very corner of my room on a pedestal, which works seeing I had that all set up for her anyways, but I have no where else to put anymore in my room. Then I have my poor Belle and Beast Designer Doll in the box they were shipped to me in on the floor in front of my bed. So when and if I get the blue Aurora and the Aladdin dolls, I have no idea what I am going to do.

I know, lol! I don't know what I will do since I will be getting ariel, cinderella, blue aurora, maleficent, and maybe wedding rapunzel, it depends on how much I will have during the summer. And plus, I had to rearrange my stuff and move my plants in my room to make space, and to balance out where aurora will go so it won't look cluttered. Lol!

I'm moving soon and I have no idea where I'll store my 17" dolls XD
Right now they're stored in Japan (so I have no idea of how much space they actually take up), but there's at least 11 dolls when it comes the the 17" dolls (plus all the designer dolls).
Guess they'll be stored on shelves in the living room (at least my husband doesn't mind the idea of a living room filled with dolls haha) - but that's not a permanent solution, since I want them behind locked glass to protect them from my kids (due next month) when they're old enough to run around and break things XD
I could just imagine if one of the girls took out Alice and started brushing her hair … :o
haha The horror of being a collector and having kids - I need a lot of locks. XD

Wow those dolls are going to take up a lot of room lol! My "doll to buy list" right now consists of blue Aurora, Lady Tremaine, the Aladdin dolls (will need to see them before I decide) and then the Fairytale Couple Designer Cinderella and Mulan and then maybe the Pocahontas one for my mom. My tiny room won't be able to hold them all unless I build onto it lol especially considering I collect other things. But right now my top priority is to add smaller things to my collections and save up to buy Christmas gifts for friends and family so I won't have to worry about that for a while (unless I find a REALLY good deal for one of them).

Eleven 17" dolls!? I am jealous . And the thought of children getting a hold of a doll like Alice or Snow White is an incredibly horrifying one lol. Ive had to deal with my young cousins messing with my collectibles and damaging them in the past, so I know how stressful it can be. I would buy as many locks as possible for those display cases XD.

P.s. My dolls are never going to my future children. Lol! I don't trust kids with regular toys, let alone limited edition ones. My mom was joking that if I have a little girl, she would be brushing and cutting le aurora's hair. My dolls will be protected from curious little minds.

You might just have to keep the, away for a short while not forever. I have my Tinker bell and Zarina dolls in my dauhghter's room (although she doesn't actually sleep in it). She has never tried to touch them, of course they are in their boxes so not sure she could even if she tried. I would love to get a nice long shelf on my wall upstairs and display them there. It's a thought for now, would have to find a nice sturdy one or figure out a way to keep them from falling in case of earthquakes.

I know how you've felt with kids messing up your stuff. I remember that for a party, my sis and her friends were playing tag on the yard, and this one boy whom I didn't like much knocked down one of my plants and broke a flower stem, which he wasn't supposed to be near since there could be spiders and such around. I was pissed of course and that was just a plant that can grow back, imagine a Le doll worth 120$!

I’m in the same boat. Ordered the 3 from Sleeping Beauty along with the Cinderella set. The only one that’s shipped so far is Cindy and her prince.

I have a toddler who will end up with these LE dolls. Since we just started to collect them, I sat her down with the Maleficent doll, her favorite character at the moment, and talked to her about what dolls she can play with and what dolls stay in the box. She knows that they are in her closet bedroom but they are just to look at. Maybe because she is a girl it's easier. But she has also been a child to not really get into things. ***I know I've been a lucky mom

I know I can probably make them (the kids) understand that the dolls are not for play, but guess the problem is also the kids of family and friends who'll come to the house, so I will appreciate to get some glass display cases with LED and locks. Even my husband talks about this - maybe because he's the one who paid for my dolls, so he at least wants his money's worth when it comes to displaying.
Also hope that having them in a locked cabinet will prevent them from falling down during earthquakes (the joys of life in Japan), but finding good cabinets which can hold so many 17" dolls won't be that easy I guess XD (This is so first world problems - haha).

I placed three separate orders: 1st one was Aurora, then Maleficent & Phillip, and placed a 3rd for DFDC Cinderella $ Prince Charming.

Cinderella shipped out first and in transit and order history now shows closed. Got my blast off emails for Aurora (order now closed) and Maleficent but without Phillip (this order still shows active).

Anyone noticed this also? Weird, wonder if it's because of the trouble shipping him out to those expecting their pink dressed Aurora. Oh and the two packages, diff tracking#s for Aurora and Mal showed 3 packages each but weighing a little over 4 lbs. I just hope the dolls arrive safely and in good condition.

I placed two orders. 1) maleficent 2) blue Aurora and some tsum tsums. Got the shipping notice for Maleficent yesterday. Disney isn't the quickest when it comes to shipping so I'm not worried about the second order

I called and she just told me 7-9 business days (like on the doll's page), she had no idea WHEN it would be shipped. I'm kind of afraid that my order will be one that gets cancelled because they oversold ugh

Yeah, I ordered a Blue Aurora from the US store and it still hasn't shipped.
Werent we told that these would start shipping by the 16th?

I think someone called them and they said that they were backed up cause of Frozen and Halloween.

Thats what they told me over the phone. The CS rep on the phone said there would be a delay in shipments due to the Halloween promotions going on. I can only imagine Christmas...
