2015 Pin Releases: Let's help each other know about them.
Some people were there for the Villaintine's pins some people were there for the GerEARation D Maleficent pins. Myself for both. Oh and the Cinderella 65th Anniversary pin and Jessica Rabbit St Patrick's day pin all LE.
The Maleficent pin sold out around 1:00 P.M. The Alphabet pins were a surprise release at Epcot and I bout the last of them around 8:00 P.M. they said they only got 500 boxes of the Alphabet. When I left at 9:00 P.M. there were still plenty of the Villantine's left.

2015 Alphabet Pins

I just got off the phone with Merchandise Guest Services and was told the Alphabet pins are in the warehouses at both WDW and DLR but not in stores. So it looks like they will continue to release them as surprise pin releases in the future.

I sure hope that DLR has villaintine and alphabet boxes on Sunday or Monday...

They might but you will probably have to hunt them down. Your best bet is to call Merchandise Guest Services by telephone at 877-560-6477 and ask them what stores the pins are at so you will know where to go and find them. They are only open Monday - Friday so you should call them now before they close for the weekend. The Alphabet pins are a hit and miss. They were released at DLR earlier this year and sold out. Being a surprise release pin they will show up when ever and know one will know until the morning when they are sent to the store that is to sell them that day.

We were told yesterday evening that the whole Disneyland Resort was totally sold out of the Villaintines pins. Pm me if you were looking for one or two in particular; I have three I'm looking to get rid of.

Someone I spoke to about the alphabet pins suggested to me that they will be surprise releases, with a limited number of boxes available at only one new store each month. Can't confirm. Most pin stores had no idea what pins I was talking about. ^^;

That sounds about right. They were released at DLR last month, not sure what store. They were released 2/12 at WDW only at Pin Central in Epcot. So if they are only getting released once a month then from what we have seen so far it might be DLR next month. All I know is that both parks have them in warehouse.

So it's the same as the Sundae pin but has a soccer ball…why is there a soccer ball? That kinda ruins it for me

I mean I know that this is adorable…but at least have him chasing the bowl so it makes sense.

I agree! Baymax is a wonderful character with such a wide range of poses and funny moments from the film and so far every single pin (almost) has been him front-on doing nothing at all. Come on guys! Put him in some poses! Don't do with Baymax what is done with Olaf and make almost every pin the same clip art..

This why people think disney is killing pin trading

Found a new contemporary resort rack pin and a new lilo n stitch starter pin set today at the contemp resort :)

Has the Villaintine Mystery Collection sold out or will they restock more? Curious if all the pins were available last week or not.
Since it was a LE of 340 max I don't think they will be restocked. I went on the day they released it at around 4:30 PM and DLR just sold their last two boxes at Frontierland so I rushed to DCA. A very kind CM at Julius Katz told me that there were just a very limited amount left just across the street and he was right! I bought 2 out of the 6 boxes they had remaining. I don't know if they restocked afterwards at a later time or the next couple of days but that was my experience on the first day of the release.

The Beauty and the Beast one uses the same stock art they have used on most of the promotional stuff for years. I like the music theme but I am trying to be careful about how many pins I pick up with that artwork on it; the pin itself has to have something else to make it stand out. Anyway, seems like they decided to go with stock promotional art for all of them this time.

Has anyone else noticed the last two frozen releases at DSSH have the same exact art for them:

Yep, been seeing it happen all over the place with different characters as well. This is why I am starting to like older pins better than new releases. Well, that, and the quality tended to be better.
