Dang it, I was just about to get Aladdin as a "im sorry you missed the set" present. Oh well. This has to be the most stressful doll release for me. Lets just hope Frozen Fever is better.

Ditto.. I'm dreading it already. I don't know if I'll have a better chance in store or online though. Obviously prefer in store but I've heard people were queuing up for Aladdin the night prior so I can only imagine people queuing up for FF 24 hours prior.
 
I don't think Disney is being cruel enough to us collectors. The next doll release should have an LE size of 25 and sell for $975. Because we all need more stress and less money. :rofl:

Seriously though, while I'm disappointed I didn't get the set, I knew it was a long shot. I think I would have been more upset if I didn't have 2 Jasmines and an Aladdin already and besides, I got to keep my $750. I would have gotten this at retail but honestly, I'm not really interested enough to pay more for it second hand.

Oh man I can only imagine.lol But hey anything's possible with Disney, they did just jack up their annual pass prices by $300 after they marked it up already this year for inflation.

I'm almost relieved I didn't get the set. I have spent an INSANE amount of money on dolls this year. I don't dare try and add it all up ....ugh, I don't even want to think about it...
 
Just got Aladdin, he's super cute and I don't want to miss out on him :) Im starting to be less upset about missing the Aladdin wedding set. I have d23 jasmine, teal jasmine and now Aladdin and Im ok with that. Ina few months ill get Jafar, but I defiantly can live without the wedding set.

The wedding set is really beautiful, but I think the price tag is ridiculous. I have been collecting Disney dolls for a LONG time now, and it has been fun, but since the hype with the initial Frozen Dolls, it has made this fun "hobby" a lot more frustrating. It was fun because it was an affordable hobby . . . now it is just going to be a disappointing/fun hobby. Disappointing because if they make really exclusive sets like this in the future, I won't be able to get them, but fun because they still have the ones I can afford, like the upcoming FF dolls, which I think look AMAZING. So, congrats to those who can afford these outrageously priced dolls, and Disney . . . PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep the "less expensive" dolls coming . . . even if that means making the exclusive dolls and then a "less detailed" doll at a more decent price for those of us who have always been collecting! (EXAMPLE: The HARRODS Aurora Set and the single dolls of Aurora in her blue and pink dress). The exclusive ones will always sell out, but so will the "less detailed" ones. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Dozen, and dozen and dozen of cancellation from Disney store .fr. I think almost 100 french now , got the jasmine cancelled and dozen and dozen, got the designer duo cancellation mail. This is an european disaster.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?

yes a mail that in france tell you that you are the one who asked the cancellations. They have guts ! so they covers themselves... they are lying in their cancellation mail. French people are so mad right now.
 
This is not good at all. Where did all the EU dolls go if so many are being cancelled and not many appeared in the UK?
 
Congratulations to everyone who got the dolls they wanted! :) And Aladdin and DFDC Rapunzel/Gothel are still available on the website for anyone who wants an update.
 
I'm dreading FF... I am on call all month so can't even try for them myself.. have to rely on a fellow group member who doesn't want them for herself to get them for me and hope nothing goes wrong!
