There were indeed tan m&ms and they were the best!

Oh yeah! I forgot about those, although when I think of tan I think more of a cream/beige color. To me those lighter brown ones tasted better because they reminded me of milk chocolate.

To be fair, the name originated when I was eleven. Favorite color: Purple. Favorite Candy: M&M's (plus my nickname in the family is "Em", so that's the double bonus). I found that no one ever had that username on any platform, so it stuck. Never could I have guessed that it would cause such a response.

Now to go google some 80's stuff and not think about these heroine pins.

I would say I feel partially responsible for starting it with the kidney comment....but it really took off with the unrelated screen name/MMs/80s cartoon convos.

I always thought it was Purple - mand - ms -- I have absolutely no explanation for this, but it
is how I pronounce your username. I was reading this thread earlier and just thought I'd chime
