What are your weird/obscure/accidental pin collections?

So today I received a very exciting bit of pin mail (the beautiful Aristocats WDI character cluster) and while I was putting it on my pin board, I realised that I am now accidentally a Frou-Frou completist! Frou-Frou for those who don’t remember (which I don’t blame you) is the horse from the movie and there are currently only two pins of her in existence, of which I own both. I found this funny for some reason and it got me thinking - what obscure/niche or accidental pin collections do you guys have? Do you collect a really obscure movie or character, an unconventional and specific “category” or have you accidentally become a completist for a random minor character like I have? I’d love to know!

I love obscure characters! I don't know if these count as super obscure, but I am almost a Sofia the First completist, I collect Clarice (Two Chips and a Miss), have started a Mayor Bellwether-only (Zootopia) collection, and plan to start a Sour Bill-only (Wreck it Ralph) collection soon. In the future I'd like to do collections of Vixey (Fox and the Hound) and Cleo (Pinocchio). I guess my taste is more background characters, though I also plan to do most of the Disney Jr. shows like Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Doc McStuffins

I'm not sure how obscure they are but I am a Mochi from BH6, Flight of the Navigator, and Lost completist. I also found myself recently seeking out Flubber and Gnomeo and Juliet pins. The latter started when I was shocked to learn that the original is a Disney movie, while the sequel, Sherlock Gnomes, is not. I definitely noticed the big drop in quality between the two.

I'm working on getting all the pins with Ling, Yao, and Chien Po (the three soldiers from Mulan). I have most of them, but to really be a completist, I'd probably need a PODM with them and the Stitch invades pin since I'm pretty sure Ling and Yao are in the background (and possibly Chien Po's leg).

I think not like Disney-Disney, just like distributed by Disney? But it's still way better than the sequel and the animation is better.

I'm also a Brave Little Toaster completist (two pins) :

I'm a completist for Fix-It Felix and Sergeant Calhoun from Wreck-It Ralph (looking forward to the pins that will come out for WiR2!) And I have not completist yet collections of a few side characters - Jake from Rescuers Down Under and Rita from Oliver and Company. I also collect playing card aces and am just one pin away from completist, though it's a very expensive and very hard to find pin from a framed set, so I consider myself to be as completist as I am willing to be for a lower priority side collection.

But my favorite obscure collection is that I am a completist for waffles!

My weird collections are pins of characters reading books and pins of clowns and characters dressed like clowns. They’re both very small collections because I’m picky about the pins I get for them.

Bookworm collection:

I’m actually thinking about getting rid of the pins shaped like books and only focusing on characters reading.

Note: I also have the OE pin of Belle reading in her yellow dress (a zap from Rocke01!) - but that is currently with my Beauty and the Beast collection.

I love Home on the Range, and it makes me sad that it gets so little love. The only thing I dislike about it (other than the fact that it gets no love) is that they went with the cranky old goat stereotype. I keep goats and they are more silly goofballs than grumps... but I suppose they would get cranky and mean if you kept one alone like they one in the movie (they are herd animals who need companions!)
Anyway, I'm glad you collect this movie!

Thank you! It's been a while since I've seen it again but I loved it! I feel like had it had a theatrical release it wouldve done just fine. I have most of the pins but like 3-4...which I guess is like a quarter of them since there's only 12 or so haha

Without realizing it, I have a little side collection of Jungle Cruise--mostly Disney characters on the cruise. I think it's because some people I've been to Disney with (COUGH COUGH RUSS COUGH COUGH) think the JC is way too awkward with the corny jokes, but that makes me love it oh so much more. So maybe it's a spite collection. XD

And randomly, I need like two more pins to be an Aly San-San completist. XD

I am a completist for the Disney Short characters Johnny Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet. There are only 2 pins and it took me over 10 years to get them both.
