They brought out the big players for this release didn't they?

They are nicely designed pins but I don't collect any of these movies or characters so I've been safe from the WDI releases.
 
I still haven't seen RDU. Which is weird because I watched/read the original a zillion times as a kid. I think we own it now though.

ETA: Looking at the release date, I know now why. And feel old.

I’m the opposite. I grew up watching RDU and didn’t even realize it was a sequel until I was a teenager.

I've seen both since I was young, though I watched RDU more often. The AMC near my house would do cheap Summer morning movies (I think like 50 cents for a movie ticket and you could choose one of two movies) and would always play older movies. Usually at least once a year they'd play RDU and I'd always pick that one over whatever else was playing.

They’re doing some obscure ones (rescuers down under!) but I wonder when we hit the awkward early 2000s period what’s getting skipped. Like, I can’t imagine a Dinosaur cluster...

Atlantis is probably the only one I want from this set because I love love the ensemble cast from that movie. Would love it even more with Helga, though..
 
If I somehow don't pay an insane amount for TLM, I'll have to start saving for the inevitable herc and ENG clusters. And why can't I become a cm in LA, again?
 
I'm actually relieved that Joanna isn't on the RDU Cluster (or rather, my bank account is relieved, ha.) The movie is definitely one of my favorites, but idk, I'm just only interested in collecting Joanna. (Thanks again @Ajk for my 1-pin collection! Lol. <3) I suppose I prefer collecting specific characters rather than entire movies.

SAME! (Is there an echo in here...?) Despite the lamentable lack of Joanna, I'm still super glad RDU got some love in this release. It needs more pins for sure. Imo, it's one of the rare cases where a sequel surpasses the original in quality. It just has a charm and grand adventure to it that I think the first film lacks. And the sweeping Australian setting is pretty unique for Disney. The animation is much more vivid and epic, as well (those flying scenes tho!!!) Gah, I miss being able to stream it on Netflix! I need to just get the DVD already, or the Blu-Ray (if there is one.) Anyway, sorry, I think I got this thread confused with Merlin's Movie Challenge... xD What can I say, I'm just not patient enough to wait until late June to talk about it! :P
