Halloween Jumbos this year?

Last year Disney Store released the "Jessica dressed as..." Halloween jumbos like usual...but no Tinker Bell jumbos. I recall the DS.com website making pages for Tinker Bell as Mary Poppins, Aurora, Maleficent, and Lilo (can't remember if there were more...) but they were never released. 🙁

With Halloween approaching...do you think we are going to see the missing Tink jumbos this year? Or will we see ANY "dressed as" jumbos?

I haven't been keeping track of the 110th Legacy Series but I know it should be ending fairly soon. For those that keep track of Disney Store releases....when do you believe the 110th series will end? I am wondering if they will make way for a batch of Halloween pins after this series ends...

And does anyone know approximately when the previews for the jumbos typically come out?

I just want to know if I should get my hopes up not not...LOL. I love this series and it would be a shame for them to end it...I feel like there are so many more characters they could do....

What do you guys think? Are we going to see jumbos this year? 🙂
 
Yes I just posted this question lol We should know something soon but with the 110 Series I don't know how they are working things. But that series should be done by October no? How many pins are left to go? I can't image thing would not put out some type of Halloween series - who the characters will be is another story all together. Maybe the Tink series will finally show up.
 
They've been releasing about 5 pins a week for the Legacy set, so I think we have about 3 more weeks left until it's over.

The Princesses as Villains idea came about after I posted this work of art that I found using Google Image Search.

I also found this on Google Image Search, which I'd KILL to have made into a pin.

The Jessica centaur is a bit much lol but the dressup pins are almost always a huge success so I'd expect something. Maybe rapunzel as tink. I can see that being ww3
 
If I remember correctly only 3 place pages were found for the Tink AS pins. I don't think there was a Tink as Aurora one but I could be wrong. Also I think it was Tink as Queen of Hearts and not maleficent. Anybody know for sure?

As the person who commissioned Jessica as a centaurette, I'll take that as a complement and relay it on to the original artist.

For those intersted, the commission theme was "before they were stars" showing some of Disney's leading ladies in their first roles as extras and supporting characters in earlier movies. In this case a young Jessica staring as one of the centaurettes in the Pastoral scene in Fantasia. You can see her making her enterance at about the 2:30 mark in this clip http://youtu.be/gqhQreYzqrs (not really but it was fun to see just how well we could make her appear to fit in)

:shock: That's amazing that you're the one who commisioned it JKrolak!

I'd love to see a whole bunch of characters as Centaurs and Centaurettes. It would be the best pin set ever! For the women I'd choose the more strong/indepenant Disney females, such as Jessica, Esmeralda and Pocahontas and for the men....GASTON! Gaston as a Centaur would be the greatest thing ever!
 
They were never released, so there are no pictures. As far as anyone knows they were never made, just place holders on Disney Shopping. Considering that not once in nearly a year has a picture of the Tinker Bell pins leaked, nor a scrapper made, it is very likely they never made it through production. But here's hoping for this year.
 
Last year the Halloween pins were released on October 4 (Tink & Jessica in costumes), October 11 (Other Halloween characters & one of the 6 pin sets) October 18 (Jessica as other characters & another 6 pin set). I think we all predicted the Tink As other characters on October 25 and then on November 1st....and nothing....I'm doing this from memory, but I was home on medical leave last October and remember ordering all of these on the days I didn't have to get up and go to work ..... so I'm guessing we have time for the 110th ones to finish and still get these...no rest for our weary credit cards!
