I am not sure we can ask the Pinopolis Ambassador. I would assume she is recovering. But perhaps we can all come together and share anything we do find out.

I have not heard any updates on the Taste of Royalty. Sigh...

Right now, Pinopolis (at least on FB) is using their other employees (Desi is one) to sell their pins. They have a lot of FB live sales (at least two this week)...but no updates on Taste of Royalty.

I just posted an inquiry on their main FB page:

So we will see if anyone responds.
 
I would, but I have wanted that Amy Mebberson print to be turned into pins for about 3 or 4 years now. It's not like Disney is jumping at the opportunity...

Maybe after this Disney will do the danged pins themselves and not outsource it.

I’m waiting on my Taste of Royalty pin as well. I love the art, hence not wanting a refund but how much longer are we going to wait? It’s been almost a year since it was ordered.

I mean, they would make a great boxed set for the food and wine, since the print is only sold during the food and wine.
 
I actually bought the Mulan Taste of Royalty last year intending to give it to a friend for Christmas 2017. I guess at this point I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't even come in time for Christmas 2018!
 
@Pinopolis Ambassador - A lot of pins have been imagined, designed, fabricated, and released by Pinopolis/ACME/HotArt since these were ordered well over a year ago. I just don't get it. We have been extremely patient and I'll even say forgiving about the delay, and we keep buying the newer pins. This isn't directed at the messenger (Ambassador) , but at the message she is given to bring to us. PLEASE PASS THIS ON to whoever can actually do something to get this moving. If it were my company, I would send out the pins when they came in along with a refund as a gesture of goodwill. I know there is a bottom line in every sale, but if collectors lose faith, you lose future sales. Thanks for listening.
 
OK, I scoped out the Pinopolis FB page and this is what was said (not in response to my post, but in response to a question asked in a thread about some new pin bags):

"should be at our warehouse in a few days! It will take a bit longer due to holidays..."

So I asked which warehouse, US or Asia?
 
So. As you all may or may not know I broke my back a month ago. I have been in and out of hospitals and rehab. I have tried to keep working but things have been dropped. Including my updates.

We have taste of royalty in. In our hands. We are putting them on cards and packaging them. We will have them shipped as soon as we possibly can. If you would like a refund for the last classic cutout sets you can message me directly. We will always honor a refund.

My personal opinion, as a company that is relying on others to produce a product we sell, We can not sit on pins we do not have and not make others. There were several different issues that occurred during the production of these sets. From personal changes to approval issues. To Chinese holiday to postal issues. Hindsight, yes we should have cancelled the series and refunded but we heard so much from everyone when we did that with the dreamers series and diva series that we chose to continue with production. We had NO doubt the pins would be made. So we stuck with it and worked with Acme to finish these 2 series. Could it have been handled better, ABSOLUTELY. Have we learned from the experience. YES. we will no longer do pre-sales and we will only sell what is in hand.

That is my OPINION based on working for an amazing company that is truly striving to be better and stronger. We have an amazing team of people that are human and make mistakes. We are a strong family and really enjoy working with all of you.

We at Pinopolis/PinPics want to wish you all a very blessed Thanksgiving and beginning to a beautiful holiday season!

Is there an update on how @Pinopolis Ambassador is doing? I'm sending extra hugs, prayers, and pixie dust - but I haven't heard anything after the post that @pretty Omi shared with us and I'm hoping for some encouraging/positive news.
