2019 pin releases
Can confirm that they were out at WDW yesterday! Saw a bunch on a resort pin board when I didn't have my traders with me grumble

Aw, man, does that mean she'll be more difficult to trade for? D:

Let me play this out for you...I got in line at pin traders in downtown Disney at 5:30am (yes, 5:30 am) only to be at least 100 people back from security gate...this was my first time at pin traders usually I just line up at the main entrance...they started selling at 6:50am and I got two pins at just before 8am, one for me and one for the first name on my pre-trade list...

I scurried to the main entrance, I refuse to run but I’m 5,5 and can speed walk like a beast...I’m 15 back from the general entrance while Magic morning people enter; there are sooo many people for Magic morning, like I have never seen so many...They let us in at 8:30am...

I scurry to that side store on Main Street, sold out already, didn’t even get into a line...scurry to the Main Street store where a line is forming...I’m told they will run out about 10 people in front of me, by now it’s close to 9

I scurry to the rope drop area of tomorrow land...rope drops and I’m booking it to tomorrow land, get there, sold out...then to frontier land where a line longer than I don’t even know is wrapping around Rapunzel theater and into the bowels of the park. I stand in line for at least an hour before I’m told they will run out about 15 people in front of me. It’s now 10:45.

By now, I’ve been at Disney land for hours and only have a small bag of pins from downtown Disney to show for so I basically wave the white flag, appreciate the two I got and go get some SB pins so the trip isn’t a complete waste...also I am starting to get hangry since I’ve been scrurry, not running, walking since the crack of dawn...so I have the best churro of my life and sit and look at my Ariel Window like....

Dang I should have DMed you to see if you had a magic morning. Most of my group did so they let us go in Early with them. Would have had you just come in with us. Lines were still pretty nuts though even with the magic morning.

Oh, man, that's intense! D: Thank you for giving me some insight into how crazy releases can get. Glad you managed to snag a couple!

But yeah, I'm an idiot, lol. For some reason, I had another Ariel pin in mind when I asked. Completely forgot about the Ariel Window since I gave up on ever acquiring another Window ages ago, haha.

@Jabberwocky
WDW Passholder series is usually 1 for each 4 Parks. Doubt entire year will be Teacups.

Considering the backer card for this one, I think it will be a set of 4 teacups :)

Not to mention the flyer literally says "Quarterly Series: Alice in Wonderland Teacups." So not just Teacups with random characters ... Teacups with Wonderland characters.

But speaking of the on-display Alice pin on backer card ... Let's all note that it's a ... swinger? Ha ha. I guess it's still a slider, or a spinner, or whatever. But Alice is topsy-turvy in your pic, Merly, whereas she was upright on the flyer. So they must've designed them to be displayed with the wild abandon that one experiences on the Mad Tea Party ride. :D

They are definitely sliders. Or perhaps Sashay-ers. Hahah!

Ohhhhhh I like that! Ha ha.

Seriously, if the rest of the series turns out as awesome as the debut pin, I'm going to be sooooo happy. Since they "Sashay," they have an edge over the WDI teacups series (which is possibly my most favoritest group of pins EVER).

Haha, Nono...i shared my odyssey only because I was mostly laughing at how ridiculous the whole thing was...

And here is the oddest part of it all, now the morning after, looking back, I can actually say I had a great time! It’s a mad pin world people, sometimes you get em sometimes you don’t, but I did have a blast in the hunt. Hahaha.
