2013 Fairytale Designer Collection
Nonetheless, Jasmine is our lovely peacock princess.

No!!! No, she is not a peacock princess!!! ;) I tease because Jasmine sings a song about not being a peacock princess while she is wearing a peacock inspired dress. I think you are right about the peacock design coming from Tales.

Oh, that's really cool that they worked in designs from a sequel. I've only seen any Disney sequel once or twice (Pixar movies aside), so I don't really remember anything from them except that they were pretty bad :(

here are more pictures of Jasmine and aladdin. They are gorgeous.

Oh, and one thing I'm not clear on with this set. What do you think inspired the peacock detailing on her skirt? I know right before they take their magic carpet ride, Jasmine calls Aladdin a stuck up peacock (or something similar), but maybe it's because Prince Ali's got 53 purple peacocks? I mean, it's pretty and all. I just wonder.

I actually think her look is partly inspired from the Aladdin Musical Spectacular show at Disneyland, It has the same color scheme, and now thanks to these pics I'm going to the store to see if I can get Aladdin and jasmine. You guys never fail to make me change my mind lol!

I think she's lovely, but the only one I'm not interested in, I wish they didn't always give Jasmine such a large head, all made more noticeable because Al's head is so small! Their In box pose is lovely though. I guess it's just not mystyle, all the head jewels are just too much imo.

- I seriously can not wait! 4 more hrs till I get the couple of Agrabah! :D

- Haha yes! She does sing about NOT being a "peacock princess" but I'm just glad they chose the "peacock" design for the fairytale designer.

- That's fine! I know a lot of people who hate Disney sequels. But some of them aren't half bad that everybody keeps saying. I especially love the Aladdin sequels & the little mermaid ones too!

- OMG I totally forgot about the Aladdin musical at Disney California Adventure. That also resembles her outfit as well! Love it! & does corporate the color schemes on the doll too x]

Got jasmine today and I got to say she is not my favourite princess but this is the best couple so far!!!! The detail and especially the position they are in makes such a difference!! My store had about ten. They still had Snow White and rapunzel too!

There were 16 dolls and 16 people showed up last I asked. I left before finding out if they all sold. Can you check your doll's positioning and let me know where Aladdin's hand rests on Jasmine? Or post a picture? I think mine is posed weird!

Wow, there were a LOT of people in today's raffle, way more than the 17 dolls the store got in. We were called 10th. And they didn't let us look at the dolls. A manager looked each set over and handed us the bag after we showed our ID. I'm back at work, so I haven't even had the chance to look at them. Hopefully my favorite set is in good condition.

I'm still going to try for the last two sets, but I won't be totally crushed if I don't get them, as much as I want the whole series.

They let us look, but if we were unhappy you could refuse to buy and hope there was a doll left at the end. I wasn't taking that chance.

I dont understand why they do the raffle. I think it's unfair. It should be first come first serve. Like a signup sheet, or a cast member can be there early and write down people's names. >_>

Second called, asked if it was okay to check the doll. Exact words I said "Do you mind if I check the doll? There have been issues in the past" and the lady grabbed my transaction receipt and said "WE don't have any issues here. WELL then I need you to move to the end of the counter." Jeeze. Her attitude really turned me off. I was planning on getting the whole Frozen set of dolls today, but her attitude ruined the feeling of being in the store.

Of course, there's nowhere on the receipt about a store survey.

I too think the raffle is the fairest way tbh. With first come first served its too easy for people to come with friends and buy up the lot and true collectors miss out. Also with first come first served you would have to get up super early, at least with a raffle you can come at a set time and if your unlucky then you can try online.

Dollmageddon 2011 where it was first-come first served was a NIGHTMARE.

- OMGOMGOMFOMG!!!! I was gonna cry when people were being called up & I saw family members getting some extra dolls too, it made me really nervous. The store I went to was at Market Mall in Calgary. & they only had 14! & there was waaaay more people for Aladdin & Jasmine compare to Rapunzel & Flynn from what I've been told during the raffle. About 25 put their names in the draw too! But luckly I was the 9th person to be called! I literally almost fainted when they call my name. Like I was literally jumping up & down in line to get it. The cast members were soo friendly when I was about to purchase it & they knew I wanted aladdin sooo badly! I also asked them kindly if I wanted to take a peak & remove the cover & check if anything was wrong. The 1st had a rip on the cover slip near the name plate. Then I checked the 2nd one & it was perfect!! Gotta make sure though when I head to work it is. But from what I checked, it was! Soo I'm glad that went through & when I checked what was it out of 6000, I was soo shocked that my number was low. It was 1016 out of 6000! Like I'm still overwhelmed out of this whole experience. It was my first time doing some sort of raffle for a awesome limited doll (couple to be exact)! :D

My store had 14 dolls and about 10 people showed up so there was enough. So so far so good. I am really enjoying these dolls more than I thought I would. I also got the 12 inch Frozen dolls and I love the quality of the dolls and outfits. And I bought the singing Ariel which is 16 inches. I was surprised by her size. They did not have the 12 inch singing dolls yet or the Small World set. My wallet needs to rest now.

I just called all 4 stores in the Greater Toronto Area, and they all sold out during the raffle, which I think also happened with Rapunzel (but not even close with Snow White). There were close to 70 dolls in total here.

I'm not sure if I really want Jasmine & Aladdin, craaap. This is the hardest part, deciding if you really want something. If I want it later down the road, then I'm screwed for pricing.
I know Im going back and forth with Belle/Beast. Im not super in love with them but its my second favorite Disney movie. I know Ill regret it later when I try to get it off of ebay and have to pay 2 - 3 times as much. I HAVE to get Ariel. Im taking the day off to get to the store for the raffle. Not sure yet about Belle.

I called my store, they have 4 left so I guess some people brought friends to help them better their chances in the raffle, but then declined a doll when they were called. I'm glad! I was worried things were really starting to pick up, but this is not as drastically different from Rapunzel's turn out as I thought it was.

Also, my store has A LOT of Snow White mugs. It is strange.
